To quote: Hey folks, I'm here today to announce a new PSN title coming this year! I'm very excited to introduce When Vikings Attack for PS3 and PS Vita.
In this all-action fighting adventure, a battalion of Viking invaders, 1200 years late to the party, are causing havoc in your town.
Imagine getting together a posse of local citizens: a construction worker, a butcher, a policeman, a pastor, and a schoolboy, then ripping up a phone booth or picking up a car,and hurling it at the advancing Viking hordes. That's the sort of crazy action you can expect in this totally new and original PSN title for PS3 and PS Vita.
Grab whatever you can and get ready to do battle!
Featuring both adventure and Versus gameplay modes that can be played with one to four players, the game has been winning fans within the walls of PlayStation with its manic, quick-fire gameplay ever since it came into being.
Did I mention that it's also a full cross play/save/buy title? So all gameplay modes can be played between PS...
54w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has shared answers today to some common PS3 multiplayer questions in the upcoming title Aliens: Colonial Marines for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system below.
To quote: If you're like me, you've been watching the recent Prometheus trailers (spoilers!) over and over, pausing only to wipe the frothy spittle off your chin.
If you're really like me, you've also been wondering, "what's it gonna take for some talented studio to create a killer game based on the Alien films?"
Luckily, Gearbox Software is building an increasingly compelling case with Aliens: Colonial Marines, an upcoming big-budget PS3 shooter that aims to pick up where James Cameron's seminal 1986 film Aliens left off.
While we know a good bit about the game's tense single-player campaign, details about its multiplayer component have remained frustratingly elusive. So we took to Twitter and posed @PlayStation followers a simple question -- what do you want to know about the multiplayer mode in Aliens: Colonial Marines?
We received a flood of questions - some insightful, some maniacally detail-oriented - and presented them to Gearbox...

It's time to gear up for GT Academy 2012! The competition starts on May 1st and will be open to all entrants through June 24th.
Developed for racing fans of all levels, GT Academy 2012 will offer a newly designed eight-step training and qualification program accessible as a demo based on the hit Gran Turismo 5.
The demo will be made available for free on PlayStation Store via PSN and will maximize the potential of all users, from beginners to advanced drivers. All participants will compete in a series of virtual driving trials using Nissan cars, and the best of the best will compete in the National Finals in July.
The action will then jump from the virtual cars of the PS3 game to actual Nissan sports cars when the winners of the National competition are invited to take part in the intense international Race Camp competition in August, where one ultimate GT Academy winner will train with elite racecar drivers and race as part of a professional team.
58w ago - Following up on the previous update, today Fun Bits Interactive Team Lead Chris Millar has announced that the free Escape Plan ppdate is now live for PlayStation Vita owners!
To quote: Today, Escape Plan owners will be happy to see new content popping up on their Vita for download.
The first pack, Bakuki's Lair, is a FREE level pack that adds 19 prequel-puzzle rooms to the adventures of Lil and Laarg. To download the levels, just update the game from Escape Plan's LiveArea directly on your PS Vita.
Fans of Escape Plan have helped push the game into the #1 spot on PSN worldwide, and so we're happy to report that we are improving the experience with a handful of adjustments that were requested directly from gamers.
Players can now squeeze Lil while swiping, front and back taps are more precise, earning stars is just based on time and there are some more hints in sticky situations.
Our plan for Escape Plan is to continue supporting fans and community worldwide by growing the game and updating the title with new features. If you haven't yet picked up Escape Plan, it's available now on PSN for $14.99.
