Sony Previews FirstPlay Episode 26, Arrives on PSN Wednesday

50°
222w ago - Sony's Associate Editor Nathan Ditum has shared a preview of FirstPlay Episode 26 today, which arrives on PSN this Wednesday for subscribers.

To quote: I've spent a hazardous (certainly to my marriage) amount of time this week hammering Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which is three things: huge, amazing, and not reviewed in FirstPlay until next week, so I'll shut up about it now.

So what is in episode 26 of FirstPlay, available on the Store from this Wednesday? We've got some more Top Gun gear for PlayStation Home - Goose helmet, kids - and another chance to grab our exclusive Joe Danger PSN avatar.

We also have two huge reviews, with in-depth HD verdicts on EA's footballing juggernaut FIFA 11 and Codemasters' beautiful F1 2010, as well as a look at pec-tastic blockbuster Prince Of Persia on Blu-ray.

And there's loads more, including a countdown of the top ten PlayStation games of all time, as voted by Official PlayStation Magazine readers to celebrate the magazine's 50th issue, and a personal take on why MLB The Show is the best sports game on PS3 from the mag's editor Ben Wilson (apparently not because he's rubbish at FIFA. I know, I was surprised too).

We've also got a review of PixelJunk Racers: 2nd Lap, a look at the latest movies...

223w ago - Sony Associate Editor Nathan Ditum has unveiled a preview of FirstPlay Episode 25 today, which will be hitting PSN this Wednesday.

To quote: I'm taking a break from daydreaming about having my own Popemobile (called the Nathmobile, with twin mounted 50 cal. high-impact cannons and an onboard Mr Whippy machine) to tell you what's in episode 25 of FirstPlay, which hits the Store this Wednesday.

This week we're giving away an exclusive Joe Danger avatar to brighten up your PSN profile, as well as his and her Top Gun t-shirts for PlayStation Home. We've also got reviews of [Register or Login to view links] meaty undead massacre 'em up Dead Rising 2 and PlayStation Move chair combat racer Kung Fu Rider, plus a preview of mucky off-roader Nail'd, and some exclusive new footage of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

And there's more - in Network Highlights we've got a review of arcade blaster Alien Breed: Impact, a round-up of the latest PSP comics and PSN content, and another trio of awesome LittleBigPlanet levels that you can download and play right now. And in screenshot galleries there's sneaking action in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, very different RPG-ing in Dragon Age II and Costume Quest, and all-out sexiness in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.
