1w ago - Team 17 Digital Ltd Senior PR Executive Bethany Aston posted up a video today announcing that Flockers is coming to PlayStation 4 on September 23rd, 2014.

Below are the details, to quote: Hi readers! We're thrilled to share with you that Flockers is coming to PlayStation Store on September 23rd for PS4.

New from the creators of Worms, Flockers is a modern day take on the classic A to B puzzle genre with a generous helping of dark humor for good measure. Sick of being turned into arsenal for the worms, the sheep are finally making a dash for freedom!

But without your guidance they are destined to die in the most horrific ways as they follow each other into diabolical traps, giant meat cleavers, spikes, and other deadly obstacles.

You'll have 60 puzzling levels to conquer with an additional 6 hidden bonus levels to find. To help the sheep overcome the hazardous scenery, you'll have to collect crates that contain special abilities for your fluffy friends.

Turn them into "Woolly jumpers" with the stylish purple beanie hat, or equip that iconic red cape to turn them into super sheep and enable them to fly up any pesky heights.

For each of the 60 levels you only need to get one sheep to safety. However, your score will be increased for each you rescue....

Video: The Delicious Sounds of The Evil Within on PS4 and PS3

1w ago - Bethesda Softworks Global Community Lead Matt Grandstaff shared a video today spotlighting the delicious sounds of The Evil Within on PS4 and PS3 below.

To quote: Dripping blood, gooey brains, and terrifying cries of the Haunted. When playing The Evil Within - Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami's return to survival horror - you can expect plenty of gruesome sounds that beg to be played with surround speakers or noise-cancelling headphones.

What you wouldn't expect is how these sounds are engineered. Stomach-turning noises that could make squeamish players lose their lunch are, actually, created by the very foods you might eat during lunch.

On a recent trip to Tango Gameworks, the sound team had the Bethesda Underground team (myself included) track down items to create heinous sound effects for the game.

With a short grocery list of cantaloupe and raw beef from sound designer Mashahiro Izumi, we decided to have some fun and surprise him with additional items to throw into the mix.: noodles, marshmallows, potato chips, and more.

The results? The experience was nearly as terrifying as the game itself. Well versed in the arena of Foley work, Izumi-san assaulted the foods we provided with...

Video: Frozen Synapse Prime Hits PS Vita on September 23rd

2w ago - Double Eleven developer Mark South confirmed today alongside a PlayStation Vita video trailer that Frozen Synapse Prime hits PS Vita on September 23rd, 2014.

To quote: Earlier this month we announced the impending arrival of Frozen Synapse Prime on PS Vita, and now I'm back to tell you exactly when to expect it on PlayStation Store!

Our turn-based strategy title will be available on September 23rd for PS Vita. We're also releasing Prime's soundtrack on PSN; both on its own and in the Prime Soundtrack Edition as a bundle.

We appreciate everyone who has followed us so far and waited patiently through almost 2 years of development. Needless to say we're excited to see it out on PS Vita this month!

This latest update comes with a trailer, touching on the story that lies within Prime and showing players what to expect when the game hits the store later this month.

For those new to the game, Prime is an asynchronous, turn-based strategy game that allows players to take on multiple matches simultaneously.

It also features a rich single-player campaign set within a dystopian future, where you take on the role of a tactician to a resistance group attempting to prevent an evil corporation...

2w ago - Blue Isle Studios Founder and Creative Director Alex Tintor announced today alongside a PlayStation 3 video trailer that Slender: The Arrival is coming to PS3 on September 23rd, 2014.

To quote: September 20th, 2012 was a day that changed everything for the tiny company I started out of my bedroom; Blue Isle Studios.

On that day we announced Slender: The Arrival was in development as the official follow-up to Mark Hadley's insanely popular viral hit, Slender: The Eight Pages.

It only seems fitting, nearly two years later, to announce that the game will finally launch on September 23rd for PS3!

As a bonus, we've added a bunch of brand new content to the game. The game is now bigger than ever with new levels, new characters, and more stories to uncover.

Over the past two years we've gotten literally thousands of messages from Playstation fans asking us to bring the game to PS3. We knew it would be a lot of hard work, but we totally agreed. The ultimate Slender Man experience had to be from the comfort of your living room on a big screen TV.

As soon as we experienced this for ourselves we knew we had to share this with all of you. While most would recommend you play the game...
