Resogun Update Out Tomorrow: Ship Editor, Local Co-op, Trophies

9w ago - XDEV Producer Ian Pickles announced that a Resogun update arrives tomorrow complete with a Ship Editor, Local Co-op, and PS4 Trophies as outlined below!

To quote: What up PlayStation Nation! Ian Pickles, Producer at XDEV Studio Europe here with some news regarding the new Resogun update, which will be hitting your PS4 before the end of this weekend.

This update, which is free to all owners of Resogun, lays the ground work for the forthcoming Heroes expansion due next week, which will expand your Resogun experience with new modes, game worlds and more.

In addition to getting you ready for Heroes, we wanted to give everyone something extra to thank you for the amazing support and reception you've shown Resogun since release. The guys at Housemarque and us here at XDEV Studio Europe were amazed by the reaction to the game - thank you all so much for getting behind the game.

With that in mind, alongside lots of tweaks, improvements and bug fixes, this free update contains a few special treats from us:

Ship Editor

One of the more requested features we've seen since the world got a look at "dem voxels" is the ability to create your own ship. Housemarque listened and created a fully featured Ship Editor for you to play with as part of this free update!
 

Borderlands 2 PS Vita Update Out Today, Improved Stability & Control

10w ago - Sony Third Party Production Director Gio Corsi announced that the Borderlands 2 PS Vita update is out today, which features improved stability and control.

To quote: It's been a few weeks since we launched Borderlands 2 for PS Vita and so far we've been overwhelmed by the community response.

We're happy to announce that title update 1.04 is available today, which should further improve the overall Borderlands 2 PS Vita experience and addresses some of the feedback from you the fans.

• We've worked with Iron Galaxy Studios to improve stability and performance throughout the game, including addressing known issues with audio playback.

• Gyroscopic controls can now be independently inverted. This should ensure that fans of inverted vertical look will also be able to enjoy Gyroscopic aiming as well!

• There are now scaling sliders for rear touch inputs in the Options menu. Many users mapped lesser used actions to the rear touch but reported that in gripping their PS Vita systems, they'd still accidentally trigger those inputs. Users can now scale the input area down to much smaller zones, mitigating this.

• Lastly, we've addressed an issue where players were not notified that their online session had expired, which caused players to incorrectly appear...
 

PS4 Firmware Update Incoming, User Interface Improvement Rumored

10w ago - Today PlayStation 4 industry insider Tidux [Register or Login to view links] that a PS4 Firmware update is incoming which reportedly will improve the User Interface with details below.

To quote: Well known industry insider, Tidux has teased some interesting update coming to PlayStation 4 in few days time. Via Twitter, Tidux hinted a brand new firmware for PlayStation 4 and also revealed some around Sony are indeed working on User Interface improvement for PlayStation 4.

When Tidux was asked, whether or not Sony's Tech support working on fan requested User Interface improvement? He replied: "Over 100 people working on the UI"

He later on hinted new PlayStation 4 firmware in testing phase: "All this testing is blowing my mind! #welcometothefuture #jit9 #fw* #PS4"

Tidux has a pretty solid track record of leaking information way before its official announcement, but still we advice our readers to wait for some official word from Sony on PS4 User Interface improvement and new firmware.
