63w ago - Following up on their previous Uncharted 3 PS3 patch update notes, today Naughty Dog have revealed the version 1.09 changes outlined below.

To quote: Patch 1.09 will be deploying Monday April 9th 2012 (PST). Here is a rundown of all the changes we've made as we moved from 1.07 to 1.08 to 1.09.

The Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception 1.09 patch will be deployed April 9th 2012. It will roll out across all regions globally over 24 hours once deployed. We were able to get both patch 1.08 and 1.09 through the testing and approval processes around the same time. Therefore we are releasing them together. Since the changes are cumulative you'll only see an update for patch 1.09 when you download it.

Additionally, for those of you who prefer to watch video over reading the notes, we have made two videos detailing the changes in update 1.08 and update 1.09. These videos summarize the patch notes you'll read in this post. Videos such as these should be available for all patches moving forward. Hooray video!

63w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli announced today that a new Uncharted 3 New Drake's Deception PS3 Multiplayer Map Pack is incoming and will arrive on Tuesday with some video footage below.

To quote: You camped out on your favorite ledges to earn the kickoff medal on the Highrise and Yemen maps. You've mastered sniping fools that run carelessly through the Desert Village and Airstrip.

You've perfected your ninja stealth kills in the secluded nooks and crannies of the London Underground and City of Brass. Okay, maybe you haven't perfected any of that yet.

Maybe you're just looking for something different and new. Whether you're a rugged UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer fortune hunter or a causal explorer, this trailer should get you amped for Tuesday's new multiplayer map pack.

64w ago - Today Naughty Dog developer Eric-ND has announced that the Uncharted 3 PS3 patch 1.08 is incoming, however, he warns that users should save their Cinema files to YouTube before it goes live.

To quote from his post on the official PlayStation board: Save your Cinema Files now!

Hi, The next patch (1.08) is coming very soon. We'll have a full list of all the changes that will happen as soon as it's been fully tested and signed off. One very important item we want to inform you about right now is your cinema files.

As soon you update to the next patch all previous cinema files you had will not work and will crash the game. In other words any cinema files you recorded pre-patch 1.08 won't work once patch 1.08 is installed.

Therefore we recommend that you upload any cinema files you currently want to save to YouTube.

As for the exact timing on the patch we'll keep you updated here on the forums and via the Naughty Dog Blog as well as on our Facebook and Twitter. For now it'll be best to get in the habit of uploading your favorite cinema files to YouTube as often as you can.

To quote: By now you've become a badass at being a dependable teammate while taking out enemies trying to kill you in UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer, right? Not really?

Okay, then practice up because a new game type is coming in fiery hot to UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception multiplayer. Co-op Shade Survival Mode will be available Tuesday, March 13 on PlayStation Store.

69w ago - Today Naughty Dog have outlined on what's included for the Uncharted 3 PS3 Patch Update 1.05 that is incoming, alongside sharing details on the Uncharted 3 Flashback Map Pack 2 below.

To quote: The Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception 1.05 patch has been pushed and should be rolling out globally over the next 24 hours. The patch notes to update 1.05 are as follows:

Available: February 21, 2012

• [Integrated bandwidth testing for hosts, so only hosts with optimum connections will be permitted to become game hosts (will help improve gameplay experience for everyone)
  
• Fixed an issue in which, under some circumstances, some players of a party would be left in the lobby while others went into Matchmaking and played matches
