400°
256w ago - Today some screens and a video courtesy of hibikinaruto via YouTube is available from cancelled PS3 title Eight Days.

To quote: You may recall hearing early last year that Sony ceased development on both The Getaway and Eight Days in order to shift resources to projects closer to completion.

Shortly after some test footage of Eight Days was released by a former Sony London employee and today we've revived even more media.

Below you'll find a test trailer of one nasty looking crash as well as screens that reveal celebrity talent such as Ving Rhames, Gary Oldman and Dennis Hopper were involved with the title.

PS3 Exclusive Title 'Kurayami' Details and Concept Art Available

50°
258w ago - Today GameSpy has some preliminary details and concept art (courtesy of JeuxFrance.com) available on the upcoming PS3 exclusive title Kurayami by Suda 51, as follows:

Suda 51 harnesses the power of PS3 for a bizarre action/adventure inspired the work of existentialist writer Franz Kafka.

In an unusual town full of odd locals, your stranded characters must explore the town and its castle to find a way out, using only his carried torch to light his way and to fend off the unexpected and unexplainable horrors that await.

Thanks to the power techniques of PlayStation 3, Suda Goichi intends to stress the graphic style (textures, drawings of the characters, decorations, etc.) of Kurayami so that the player can truly sense the darkness, as the concept of the fear will play a very important part in the play.

Additionally, advanced new lighting and graphic techniques are used to impress upon you the feeling of fear and loneliness (the tite "Kurayami" means "Darkness" in Japanese) as you venture through to the end of your quest.

Media Molecule is Working on 'Ground Breaking' PS3 Title

50°
266w ago - LittleBigPlanet developers Media Molecule are working on a new PS3 title, at least according to a [Register or Login to view links] from earlier this month.

According to the listing, they are seeking a Gameplay Programmer for "ground-breaking, AAA, PS3 title for Sony Computer Entertainment" as part of an expansion of Media Molecule Ltd.

To quote: It was thought that the developers were working only on LittleBigPlanet PSP, as the studio is fairly small and employs only a handful of people. This news is good news for PS3 owners, and certain requirements in the listing suggest that this game will be LittleBigPlanet 2.

The listing asks for "experience writing and maintaining physics code" and requires the prospective employee to have "shipped a console game with an online component."

This is obviously all speculation, but don't be too shocked when the game announced is LittleBigPlanet 2 (or LittleBigUniverse?)

Speculation: Kojima to Reveal One More Title at E3 2009

100°
269w ago - Kojima has updated his [Register or Login to view links] site and it leads to a special E3 page.

On the page it has the Mask site, and the now revealed Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

However, there is a large void next to Metal Gear Solid: Rising. This suggests a new title will be shown tomorrow as well.

Could it be the Metal Gear Solid PSP title? Likely chance, but Kojima is a crafty guy.

We have seen revealed, thus far, Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
