110w ago - Today SCEE's James Gallagher has shared a new Street Fighter x Tekken gameplay trailer and details.

To quote: At Captivate last week, Capcom unveiled the first batch of playable characters in Street Fighter X Tekken: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile and Abel from Street Fighter and Kazuya, Nina Williams, King, Marduk and Bob from Tekken.

Afterwords, Producer Yoshinori Ono spoke how Street Fighter X Tekken came to be.

In his words... When we [Capcom] took that 10 year break between releasing Street Fighter games, I feel that Tekken diligently stoked the fighting game campfire and kept people interested. With Street Fighter IV we tossed kerosene on that fire and got fans really excited about fighting games again.

I was having dinner with the Tekken director [Katsuhiro] Harada-san shortly after Street Fighter IV came out and we got talking about how we could keep that campfire burning. 148w ago - This weekend we have one more debut trailer video from Comic-Con 2010, which showcases Street Fighter X Tekken for the PS3 entertainment system.

The Street Fighter X Tekken video comes courtesy of CapcomUnityVideos with the announcement by Capcom's Yoshinori Ono at Comic Con 2010.

To quote: "Street Fighter X Tekken will be running on Street Fighter IV's engine, which means Tekken will stray from its 3D roots and into new gameplay territory.

Whether or not the transition is a smooth one remains to be seen, but some of the gameplay videos that are leaking onto the net look pretty good so far."

To quote: Headlining this week's PlayStation Home update are two new Tekken 6 costumes and a selection of character ornaments. If you're a fan of Heihachi or Paul Phoenix, we've got a costume for each that's sure to impress.

175w ago - Below is a first look at the upcoming Tekken (2010) live action movie, and it appears the unofficial release date is currently slated for April 5, 2010.

To quote from legendaryhero90 via YouTube: "Yes this is an Indie film, not made by Hollywood. This is why we see a lot of characters resembling their video game counterparts.

If Hollywood made this movie, we would probably get something closer to Legend of Chunli."

Directed by Dwight Little (Halloween 4, Marked for Death, Rapid Fire), it follows Jin Kazama who seeks to rid his soul of the devil inside him.
