VooFoo Studios Shares The Latest News on Hustle Kings for PSN

50°
166w ago - VooFoo Studios Art Director John Kearney has shared the latest news today on Hustle Kings for PlayStation Network.

To quote: Just over 18 months ago, Hustle Kings was released on PSN. Since launch, 1.4 million online games have been played with over 14.8 million very shiny balls potted (imagine those numbers if we could include offline games)!

During that time, we have been busy developing Hustle Kings for PlayStation Vita, in addition to providing regular updates and DLC for the PS3 version.

A thriving community helped guide our direction and allowed us to make significant improvements. We created the hugely popular snooker add-on, free crazy tables, new trick shots, ball-sets, cues and avatars. We also provided support for Move and stereoscopic 3D.

As a massive fan of late night games, it's a privilege for me to confirm the inclusion of Hustle Kings in the upcoming PS3 title 'After Hours Athletes'. Created in association with PUMA Social, we recognise that the After Hours Athletes fuel themselves on late night falafel rather than energy drinks and half time oranges.

If that isn't enough to satisfy your hustle needs, you'll be pleased to know that Hustle Kings will be available for Vita at launch. Visually, it's virtually identical to the PS3 version...

Sucker Punch Shares InFamous 2 PS3 Update and 2010 Recap

300°
204w ago - Today Ken Schramm at Sucker Punch Productions shared a brief InFamous 2 PS3 update complete with new screens alongside details from their 2010 recap.

To quote: 2010 was a huge year starting with the amazing response to our announcement at E3 to the sharing of Cole's comic book inspirations at Comic-Con.

Whether it's exciting new powers, gruesome new enemies, or a new comic book, there's a lot in store for our hero/villain Cole MacGrath.

We're busy working on making inFAMOUS 2 the best action game experience we possibly can, and we'll have more to share in the New Year, including some big announcements.

What will Cole's powers be? How will your choices affect the game? What lies unseen in the city of New Marais? Your questions will be answered in 2011.

Until then, check out the holiday issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine where you can get more details on inFAMOUS 2 and soak in some new images from the game.

We'll have more updates soon – thanks for your support!!

Video: Sony Shares inFamous 2 PS3 Comic-Con Panel Highlights

50°
226w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein shared some video highlights today of inFamous 3 for PS3 from this year's Comic-Con panel.

To quote: Panels are typically the highlights of Comic-Con, but truth be told, they're a bit of a pain in the arse.

You end up waiting in a long line (sometimes for hours), fight for good seats with people who are squatting for the Vampire Chick Lit panel happening like 2 days later in the same room, and endure one or more of the following: difficult lighting/audio issues/off-topic Q&As.

Wouldn't it be easier if all the good stuff was cut down into, say, 7 minutes and 53 seconds?

In this highlight reel of the inFAMOUS 2 Comic-Con panel, the [Register or Login to view links] team talks about the creation of Cole and the changes he's gone through since the first inFAMOUS (including his voice), how New Orleans is an influence on inFAMOUS 2's setting of New Marais, and, the all important question of why Cole can't climb chain link fences:

One last bit of inFAMOUS-related business: tomorrow is the last day to register on [Register or Login to view links] to get an exclusive PS3 theme. It's made from concept art for the game and this...
