To quote: We know it's been a while since you've seen anything Kingdom Hearts related, and with absolute pleasure we're excited to share with you a brand new batch of screenshots today for [Register or Login to view links] for PS3.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX never launched in North America, and it features the origin story of Kingdom Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX includes completely remastered graphics, which makes the D-Links, Shotlocks, and the triple protagonist story lines of Terra, Ventus, and Aqua better than ever. If that wasn't enough, this game is a seamless port of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep from the PSP to the PS3.

Kingdom Hearts II FINAL MIX brings back the trio of Sora, Donald, and Goofy to traverse once again through the worlds of Christmas Town (Nightmare Before Christmas) and Space Paranoids (Tron). 50°
14w ago - Monolith Productions Community Manager Andy Salisbury revealed a fresh PlayStation 4 video trailer today spotlighting Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor coming to both the PS4 and PS3 video game consoles.

To quote: At Monolith Productions, we've had a blast creating and sharing the world within Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on PS4 and PS3.

Today, we can reveal that several journalists were able to go hands-on with the game and the Nemesis System, and their very own impressions of what they saw and played will be shared.

These esteemed members of the press have been spending their time near the Sea of Nurn, a brand new location and home to Lady Marwen, a tribal leader of Men in the region.

In Nurn, Talion will not only be dominating the Uruk hordes of Sauron, but also beasts including the fierce caragors of Mordor. With the introduction of Marwen, the stakes have been raised significantly.

What began as a personal story of vengeance is now a challenge to build an army deep behind enemy lines to challenge the power of the Dark Lord himself.

But that's enough from me. Check out the trailer, which will let you see Lady Marwen, the Sea of Nurn, and Talion riding caragors with your...

Jet Car Stunts on PS4, PS3, PS Vita Release Details, Pricing Revealed

50°
15w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska confirmed today that Jet Car Stunts is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita alongside release details and pricing revealed below.

To quote: Hey! This is Jakub from Grip Games. Some time ago, I told you that we're bringing the popular racing franchise Jet Car Stunts to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

We can now share more information about the release dates, pricing, cross-buy and cross-play.

But first, have a look at the new trailer showing the game in all its insanity. You'll be flying in the air, racing on narrow tracks and using jets to reach supersonic speeds.

Jet Car Stunts is a hybrid between a racing game and a platformer. The tracks are devious, the pace is ruthless and your opponents are the best racers on PSN.

Jet Car Stunts will launch on PS3 and PS Vita in July, followed by the PS4 version in August. All three versions support cross-play, and the best players' ghosts and leaderboards transcend all three platforms.

The PS3 and Vita versions will offer cross-buy and will cost $7.99. The PS4 version will be significantly upgraded - offering better visuals and more track details, and running at 60fps and 1080p.

Anyone who purchased the...

15w ago - Square Enix Senior Product Manager Sakura Minamida announced that Drakengard 3 is out today on PS3 complete with a new PlayStation 3 video trailer reveal below!

To quote: It's a pleasure to be here on PlayStation.Blog to tell you guys that Drakengard 3 is out today on PS3. The Drakengard series has always been one of Square Enix's most unique titles, and Drakengard 3 is no exception. To quote the tagline: carnage has never looked so beautiful.

You may remember that we had a very limited quantity Collector's Edition of the game that sold out pretty quickly. Some good news for those of you that missed it is that you can now purchase the entirety of the DLC content we included in the Collector's Edition with the game for $64.99, exclusively on PlayStation Store.

We call it the Digital Collector's Edition, and it includes One's Prologue, the Giant Baby Hat for Mikhail, Caim's Garb, the Japanese Voice Pack, the Nier Costume Pack, and six PSN themes.

For those of you who want to buy the DLC individually, there's a few things available for sale today as well, including the Japanese Voice Pack, Manah's Garb (her Drakengard 2 look) for Zero, and for you music fans, two remix packs that change certain tracks in the game to either the original Drakengard titles or Nier. We'll have...

Sony Announces Transistor Out Tuesday, Recursion Mode Revealed

50°
16w ago - Supergiant Games Creative Director Greg Kasavin announced today via Sony's blog that Transistor for PS4 is out Tuesday alongside Recursion Mode details below.

To quote: Transistor is less than a week away! Things are eerily calm for us at [Register or Login to view links] as we await the moment when our new game becomes available worldwide, at which point we'll find out at long last what everybody really thinks!

It's been immensely gratifying to have worked on something that so many folks are excited about. Though, knowing full well just how little of the game we've shown, I'm eager to see the response to all the many aspects of the game we've purposely kept secret.

I'd like to talk about one of those aspects here, but first! Let me tell you why we've opted to keep so quiet through most of Transistor's development.

"The less you know about Transistor, the more likely it is to surprise you."

We could have shown more. Since you're reading this on PlayStation.Blog, I'd bet you're pretty up to date on what's happening in games in general. You know the typical PR cycle for a big game involves tons of trailers, previews, press releases, and so on, and maybe eventually a round or two of hands-on impressions before the game is finally released....
