242w ago - Today SCEA Associate Producer Chris Hinojosa-Miranda shared a Patapon 2 multiplayer trailer and PSP 'Digital Only' FAQ as follows:
I want to take a moment to answer some questions about last week's "digital only" format announcement.
Q - What happens if accidentally erase or lose my Memory Stick? It doesn't matter how many times you erase, break or lose your memory stick. The magic of Patapon 2 is that can re-download it (for free) as many times as you want off the PlayStation Network using the PSN ID you bought or redeemed the voucher with.
Q - I fiendishly back-up all my digital entertainment; can I do that with Patapon 2? Yup, you can back up the Patapon 2 game on a PC with Media Manager, a free application available at store.playstation.com. It's easy-peazy-lemon-squeazy.
Q - How much Ka-ching will I have to drop for Patapon 2? Patapon 2 is priced at a wallet friendly $19.99 USD for both the retail voucher and the PSN download.
It is very clear to see how passionate you guys are about Patapon 2 and we're thankful for all your feedback and opinions. Of course there are many other questions, but since we did promise a breakdown on multiplayer, we best jump...
246w ago - Today Kenichi Ogasawara (Producer at KOEI Co., Ltd.) has made available a Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce PSP Demo and Trailer via PS Blog.
To quote: Hi. This is Kenichi Ogasawara, a producer at KOEI and the creator of Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce for PSP. We're launching a new multiplayer demo tomorrow on PlayStation Store, so I came by to share some thoughts about the game.
Over the years, we've gained a lot of support for the Dynasty Warriors series, but the longer you continue a series, the more conservative some elements become when you are making the game system and the game world. Our aim this time was to overhaul everything: new system, new visuals, new action.
With Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce we shifted the focus of the series on PSP to 4-player multi-play. But even by adding multiplayer to the Dynasty Warriors formula, my team and I were really doubtful as to whether or not players could get any more excitement from the series. We still felt we needed something huge... Monsters! Yes!
This might sound completely over the top, but idea behind adding monsters (like Bi Xie, the giant stone tiger you'll see at the Battle of Hu Lao Gate) is that we wanted players to have the same reaction...
311w ago - Odd, and entirely true; Square Enix put a trailer for the new installment of their much-loved series online - and then tried to prevent fans from getting to it.
It seems you're only worthy enough to see the video if you are both a registered SE member and have a serial number from the Star Ocean 1 remake on PSP- which was only released today, in Japan. Plus, there's no scheduled European or North American release date.
All that effort, just for a trailer? If there's method to this madness, then we don't see it. Good thing some bright spark went and youtube'd it. There's nothing on show in terms of plot or game mechanics, but it's gorgeous enough to set your tongues wagging at any rate.
