167w ago - Sony Marketing Manager Mark Valledor has just announced that the LittleBigPlanet 2 PlayStation Move Pack hits PSN today and has shared some videos below.

To quote: The LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack will be available later today on the PlayStation Store refresh.

The epic downloadable pack includes tons of new gadgets and tools, giving you the power to CREATE games for your PlayStation Move motion controller, which eventually means that tons of user-generated PlayStation Move-enabled games will be available to everyone for free via PSN.

But most importantly, the Move Pack contains an epic new storyline titled "Rise of the Cakeling!" See what's in store in our new Story trailer below.

The LittleBigPlanet 2: Rise of the Cakeling Move Pack (add-on) will be available for $9.99 in the US. Note that you must have LittleBigPlanet 2 in order to play it.

Videos: The Tester: Season 3 Casting Now Open for PSN Voting

170w ago - PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has shared some videos today announcing that The Tester: Season 3 casting is now open for voting by PSN fans.

To quote: Our search for the cast of The Tester: Season 3 continues! Today, community voting begins so anybody can now help select the one lucky gamer who will get a chance to compete for the production job at Sony's Santa Monica Studio.

By now, I hope you've visited [Register or Login to view links], created a profile and uploaded a video to convince the world why you should be selected to compete on the third season of The Tester.

If not, don't worry. It's not too late because we're still accepting online auditions until September 16. Remember, the casting directors look at every profile and video. Sony's Filmy Application for High-Definition Videos Hits PSN

198w ago - PlayStation Network Director of Marketing Brandon Stander has announced today that Sony's Filmy application for high-definition videos is hitting PSN.

To quote: PlayStation Network users will be excited to hear that we have just introduced a new movie viewing application from Sony Corporation exclusively on PSN.

The new application, called Filmy, allows easy organization and viewing of AVCHD video recorded with Sony cameras on PlayStation 3.

With Filmy, you can enjoy smooth operability and easy video playback of your AVCHD videos. Simply connect an AVCHD-recordable camera to your PS3 with the USB cable, and you can view those high-definition AVCHD videos right on your TV.

The Filmy application is available in the media category within the PlayStation Store as a free trial version that allows you to operate full features for 15 minutes and also as a paid version that unlocks all content functionality for $5 USD. Once downloaded, Filmy will install under the Video icon of your XMB.

The Filmy application is yet another innovative offering on PSN as we continue to expand your entertainment options, including games, movies, TV shows, sports and content that just can't be found anywhere else.
