In keeping with our Red Valentines theme this month... we release another red themed app. Tonight, in our second release we bring you a second handy app that continues our commitment to the removal or the need for ANY dongles. A simple app that should likely make it into everyone's PS3 tool set. An XMB application that places the PS3 into factory service mode. Now, You can now throw away that downgrade dongle! Also, as an added bonus we've included CEX and DEX versions of the pkg.

Psgrade was ported to all sorts of devices, even calculators ... none of those external devices are needed any longer! You may now re-purpose them!

Usage:

When you run the app it will beep once and reboot if successful. Three beeps indicates...

I upgraded my app with spoofer_pup_repack.exe. It does everything like spoofer_pup.exe but recreate a new PUP file with spoofed files for install to your PS3.

Remember, put your PS3UPDAT.PUP file and put this in command line of Cygwin (you can choose your version and image version):
It must have the same number of digits ALWAYS, if not it gives you error on your PS3
When it finished without errors you will see a PUP file named PS3UPDAT_SPOOFED.PUP, simply...[/b]

69w ago - I have done this PS3 PUP / Dev_Flash File Spoofer v3 Tool (basically is an script that use other tools) long time ago for easily spoof necessary files from a PUP file or your own files of dev_flash. This works on Cygwin and Ubuntu (not CMD windows)

There are 4 tools that makes a different job:

• keys.exe - Install PS3 keys
  
• extractor.exe - Extract vsh.self, index.dat and version.txt of PUP file
  
• spoofer.exe - Spoof your flash files [vsh.self and version.txt] (put there in same folder with spoofer.exe)
  
• spoofer_pup.exe - Extract and spoof automatically files of PUP (it must be in same folder with spoofer_pup.exe)
  

You must choose what version and image version you want to spoof in tools spoofer.exe and spoofer_pup.exe, for example, if i want to spoof to 6.40 i put this on Cygwin console (you can choose any image version):
