193w ago - A few days back we saw a PlayStation Move Review with House Party unboxing, and today IGN has done a PS3 Motion Controller unboxing video of their own.

The PS Move unboxing video spotlights, you guessed it, the unboxing of Sony's new PlayStation Move peripheral.

The video shows the PlayStation Wand, in what may be the official packaging of a certain combo pack.

The package in the video also comes with the PS Eye, and a couple discs which contain some PlayStation Move demos and PS3 games.

Anyways, all PlayStation Move peripherals are set to launch worldwide in September.

Video: The Shoot PlayStation Move PS3 Motion Controller Footage

250°
193w ago - Over the weekend we caught a glimpse of the first PlayStation Move Review featuring Table Tennis and Tiger Woods, and today another PlayStation Move PS3 Motion Controller video has surfaced spotlighting footage from The Shoot.

To quote, roughly translated: "A new video has surfaced that shows in almost ten minutes of new game scenes on upcoming PlayStation Move games.

Among other things, this shows video game scenes in front of The Shoot. The game will be published on September 15, 2010 in the starter set of PlayStation Move as a demo version.

With PlayStation Move The Shoot offers plenty of destruction on the sets of numerous action films.

The more you break shot, the easier it is to impress the virtual director... as scenes are five different venues, including a setting in the Wild West."

Video: PlayStation Move Review with Table Tennis & Tiger Woods

193w ago - Last week we saw images of Sony's PlayStation Move PS3 Motion Controller dissected, and this weekend NeoGAF (linked above) user AlexMogil has shared a video review of PS Move House Party he recently won.

Here are his thoughts on PlayStation Move thus far, to quote:

"Overall the device is nice, a little heavier than what I would have expected. As I mentioned in another thread I had to stand for every game but it isn't because of the technology, it's more because the games were designed that way.

For example, Sports Champions' table tennis allows you to move in all directions to play the ball and is surprisingly effective. I will try and be more detailed about it in the description of the titles.

Controlling the PS3 interface with the Move controller is really frustrating. Hold in the trigger and shake the stick to move in all directions... but it is waaaay too sensitive. I found myself giving up and reaching for the DS3. The web browser also does not create a virtual mouse which I thought would have been a nice touch.

The input lag is noticeable with everything. Not so much that it is make or break, but it is noticeable. It's a little like playing online...

195w ago - Sony's PlayStation Move PS3 Motion Controller model CECH-ZCM1U specifications were first uncovered via FCC listing, and today Examiner.com has shared some pictures of it dissected for those who are curious!

The images appear to have surfaced from Jamtex of AssemblerGames.com (linked above), and show Sony's PlayStation Move Motion Controller being opened revealing the chip set, the rumble pack and the internal battery.

To quote from Examiner.com: "Sony is planning to launch their motion-based controller, PlayStation Move, in just over a month when it officially hits retail shelves during the start of September.

With the release coming up so soon, it's expected that developers, publishers, and other industry folk will find the controller in their possession relatively soon, if not already."
