106w ago - Following up on their initial release and IrisManager application, this weekend Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has made available a JFW DH 3.56 MA PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) Installation Tutorial.
To quote, roughly translated: Installation Tutorial for JFW DH 3.56 MA
This tutorial is designed so that the user makes a comfortable and easy installation "DH JFW 3.56 MA" without risk of incorrect installation either. Before starting the installation we will clear some things:
What is the DH JFW 356 MA?
It is the first CFW 3.56 for the system, thanks to DH 356 JFW MA, locked in 3.56 users who are unable to downgrade have a chance to scene, so if you'll need a flasher. For users who are at 3.55 or 3.41 will not need the flasher for installation.
How is unlike the rest of the current CFW?
3.56 The DH JFW is made by sceners MA Spanish and we thought both users who are locked up like that scene today have at 3.41/3.55.
The DH JFW 3.56 MA has features that no other CFW has, such as preloader, Thegra, etc...
To quote, roughly translated: Here I leave the first version of IrisMAnager356, first before anything I want to thank D_Skylwalk, xulofuenla and dreamsder for the collaboration of the not yet finished version.
When it comes to the screen loaded crashes payload, but that is unimportant, only would fail to adapt the payload manager (that D_Skywalk) could do it without many problems here and upload the source generated PKG Source download and testing PKG.
1saludo and appreciate any help... and at this rate I can say that would be easier to carry all dongles, for to those applicable to the 3.41 3.56 MA.
Note: For those not on 3.56 already it is advised not to update to 3.56 CFW yet, as you will not be able to downgrade and IrisManager is barely working on it at...
108w ago - Today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has released the first version of their JFW DH MA-1 3.56 PS3 Custom Firmware alongside a video of it in action below.
Note: Before installing, barrybarryk warns users who install JFW DH MA-1 3.56 PS3 CFW they will not be able to downgrade without a hardware flasher... so be aware it's primarily intended for those stuck on a 3.56 base.
To quote, roughly translated: PS3 MA-1 3.56 is the first PS3 Custom Firmware version 3.56. This custom (its most basic) was ready for about 7 or 8 months, but it was not until now when I decided to publish it.
It has nothing to do with the recently published exploit the metldr, although the appearance is imminent futures higher firmwares, for which he wants to try, here it is.
First of all thanks:
Graf_Chokolo, for their great work.
A Demonhades, for its testing, its great strength.
112w ago - Today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has shared another video of JFW DH PS3 CFW, this time demonstrating the USB Preloader and Flash dumping without a JIG extracting the backup of the 4 PS3 flash files on the Custom Firmware.
To quote, roughly translated: In this video I show how the preloader already done, we can dump the 4 flashes of the flash, if we make an error to recover.
As you can see the preloader working safely by the combination of the jig, but without the use of jig (never activated if you do not do the combination, and although it does not detect activated if the magic flags or contained in GRID_UPDATER not perform nothing harmful).
Simply putting the usb where we want to save, and flags magic to do what we send in "direct mode".
In the video we can see GRID_UPDATER folder, this folder is the "Direct Modules Installer" unlike the "direct mode" (root pendrive) this only updates from configurations of plugins, modules to plugins or flash.
Direct mode: the configuration of the USB Pilla (in safe mode)
Installer mode: Install the modules to replace dev and let the new configuration observed.
1saludo and thanks as not Jaicrab, Alexander and Maki and the explanatory video kiki...
