Video: Total_Noob Announces TN-V for PS Vita: XMB and PSN Access

62w ago - Recently PlayStation Vita developer Total_Noob has announced news of TN-V for PS Vita, which will bring forth both XMB and PSN access for users.

6.60 TN-V is a Custom Emulator Firmware (CEF) for the PS Vita. It offers the XMB design and the most important feature: the ability to access the PSN - the SOLUTION for 2.02 UNO owners.

It is still work in progress. There is no release date. There are quite some bugs and I have only little time to work on that.

Below are the full details and video via wololo, to quote: Total_Noob has officially announced his new project: 6.60 TN-V for the PlayStation Vita.

6.60 TN-V is a Custom Emulator Firmware (CEF) for the PSVita 2.02 UNO exploit. Total_Noob's TN-V will be different from his last release (TN-C) as it will include a fully functioning XMB something we saw only briefly in pictures awhile back, however now Total_Noob has a video to show it in action.

TN-V will support PSN access, so you’ll be able to connect to the PlayStation Network to download PSP games and access content, something that has been not possible after the mandatory 2.05 update and blocking of the Charles & Fiddler proxies. You’ll only be able to connect to the PSP's store since TN-V uses part of the PSP 6.60 firmware (to connect),...

Video: VHBL Exploit on PS Vita Firmware 2.02 by Tomtomdu80 Demo

650°
65w ago - Following up on the CEF TN release and XMB on PSVita news, today tomtomdu80 announced that he has found a new VHBL exploit for PS Vita Firmware v2.02 with a demonstration video below.

To quote via wololo's blog: A new user mode exploit has been found by user tomtomdu80.

What makes this user mode exploit different from others is that tomtomdu80 was able to port it to VHBL and has gotten quite good homebrew compatibility, not many exploits achieve this. Below is a video showing the exploit.

Before anyone starts saying things like “it’s fake” or “he’s moving the vita away blablabla”, let me tell you two things:

1- I personally confirm this exploit as I’ve tested it myself on my vita
2- he hides the vita in the video to prevent the game from being shown

I know most of you...

Video: PS Vita Running PSX / PS1 Games with eCFW TN-C Demo

550°
70w ago - Following up on their previous update, today The_Z has shared a PlayStation Vita demo video and guide on running PSX / PS1 games at full speed (with no sound) via eCFW TN-C on Sony PS Vita Firmware 2.01 below.

Download: PSX Add-on for eCFW 6.60 TN-C / PSX Add-on for eCFW 6.60 TN-C (Mirror)

To quote: In this video I show you that its possible to run PS1 games at the TN-C CFW. This is also working at the lower firmwares, you don't need the upcoming 2.01 exploit for it.

Just put the 2 PRX files into your exploit savegame folder and PSX (PS1) games should be working from the TNMenu. Other menues arent tested yet.

This should be working with every TN-C release for the PS Vita. The PS Vitas OFW shouldnt be important, it should be working for 1.6x, 1.80, 1.81 and 2.0x firmwares (avaible soon).

Greetings The Z
