57w ago - Following up on the previous release and confirming the rumor, today wololo has officially named the next exploitable game that Teck4 is porting TN's eCFW to is indeed Gravity Crash Portable.
Below are the details from his blog, to quote: If you missed both the Ubanix and the Mad blocker alpha exploits, today might be your lucky day. Japanese Developer Teck4 has ported TN’s eCFW to a new game exploit. The game is, as I type this, still available on most stores.
A few weeks ago, developer frostegater announced he was working on a new game exploit in order to bring Total_Noob’s eCFW to even more Vita owner. Sadly, he discovered while working on international versions of the game, that porting his exploits to all locales would not be as easy as expected. Luckily for us, Teck4 also had his own exploit in the work, and was nice enough to share it with the world. Frostegater eventually contributed to this exploit as well, by porting it to the US and EU versions of the game.
58w ago - Below is a video tutorial from GameBlamer on YouTube demonstrating how to dump PS Vita games via the recently released PS3 CFW 4.21.
It has not been confirmed yet and I am not the uploader, I just found it randomly so consider it a proof-of-concept if it ends up working or an 'entertainment purposes only' video if not.
The video is partly in English and part in German, and although it can be followed if anyone wishes to translate the German parts to English or make a new video let us know and we will update this article with it... those interested can check it out below!
Finally, from wololo (via wololo.net/2012/10/25/backing-up-vita-games-using-the-new-4-21-cfw-by-rogero/) on the above video to quote:
Backing up Vita games using the new 4.21 CFW by Rogero
Have you ever worried about Sony's financial situation, and what would happen to your hard earned Cash if they were to close? I certainly have.

65w ago - Egg Ball Games Marketing and Communication Manager Aurelie Gerault has announced today that Jazz: Trump's Journey will jive onto PS Vita this coming Winter!
To quote: It's Aurelie here from Egg Ball Games to unveil Jazz: Trump's Journey, our first downloadable PS Vita title, co-produced with Bulkypix.
Supported by the CNC (French National Organism of Cinema) and awarded the 2012 Best Video Game of the Year prize by the French Ministry of Culture, our game immerses the player in the memories of Trump - in his dreams as a young, star-struck jazz musician in love with the lovely Lady Poppy.
Presenting a daring parallel with the real story of jazz legend Louis Armstrong, you'll relive Trump's life, through his quest to form a jazz group, through his love affair and through his battle against injustice in New Orleans in the early 20th century.
We think the original scenario is the main strength of the game - no platformer has dealt with this sort of theme before. Egg Ball's aim was to talk about the creation of jazz and the people responsible.
All of the team here are very fond of Louis Armstrong, his music and his life. They get really inspired by his art and his approach...

77w ago - Sony Associate Producer Shaun Wharton has confirmed that PlayStation Vita owners will have access to augmented reality puzzle game PulzAR beginning today with details below!
To quote: We're very excited to announce the release of PulzAR today, available on PSN for $1.99. In case you've missed our past PulzAR blog posts, here's a word from the game's lead designer to usher in today's release.
I'm Neall Jones, Lead Designer for the next great addition to the PS Vita AR games, PulzAR.
So, what's PulzAR all about then? Well the Earth is in grave danger, somewhere just beyond our planet's outer atmosphere five giant asteroids are heading on a deadly collision course with the planet.
It's up to you, the player, to command a network of laser powered rockets to try and blast the asteroids into a harmless meteor shower before they hit the Earth.
The first Play Card placed is used as the Arena card and draws the level out, then the puzzles use up to 5 Play Cards to place the three types of objects in the game; Reflectors, Splitters and Color Filters.
There have been other laser and light based games before, but none of them have let you see the game world and play it on your table top, something that can only be done with the PS Vita.
