To quote: VHBL for Vita 2.12

Here it is, the long awaited VHBL release for Qwikrazo87′s VHBL port to the Vita Firmware 2.12!

So, before we give you the files, a bit of disclaimer: This VHBL port runs through an exploit in the game Gamocracy one: legend of Robot. We announced that game secretly to our community members over the past few weeks, and publicly a few days ago. Since then, Sony have pulled the game from their stores, and if history repeats itself, the next Vita firmware update will have a patch for the game....

Video: Putting Content Into the PS Vita GAME Folder at Firmware 2.10

79w ago - Following up on Sony's PS Vita 2.10 and PS Vita 2.11 Firmware updates, today PlayStation Vita hacker The Z shared a way around some of the new limitations and covered putting content into the GAME folder in a video below.

To quote (via wololo): Several people have pointed to me that I shouldn’t talk about “PS Vita hacks” when what I’m really talking about are hacks inside the PSP emulator running on the Vita.

But I’ll have to say in my defense that with each iteration, the PSP emulator on the Vita is going further away from the actual PSP firmware, with its seemingly endless series of security features (that are probably really here to avoid a stupid crash happening on your Vita, but also have the convenient side effect of delaying hacks inside the psp emulator).

Take the recent firmware 2.10 for example. It blocked the possibility to create files or subfolders within the /PSP/GAME folder from within the PSP emulator itself. The Vita system of course can still do it (and needs to do so when you purchase and install a psp...

Finally, from PlayStation Vita hacker The Z (via wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?p=259688#p259688): Sony released the FW 2.11 this night, which seems to be a "hot-fix" Update, like the usual +0.01 updates.

Videos: PS Vita Firmware 2.10 Hello World and VHBL Demos, TN-V v3

400°
80w ago - Following up on Sony's recent PS Vita Firmware 2.10 release, PlayStation Vita hacker The Z has shared some videos of a Hello World and VHBL running on it alongside news of TN-V v3 incoming.

Below are the details via Wololo, to quote: It is no secret that PS Vita scene member The Z has a PSP hack available and running on the Vita. He actually mentioned that a while ago back when 2.06 was the latest and greatest.

Today, as firmware 2.10 was announced then quickly made available, we got the usual flow of questions: Have exploits been patched? Does VHBL still work? Will TN save the world from the Giant Crab?

Well at least now we can at least answer one of those, as The Z was quick to confirm that his current exploit is still alive on PS Vita 2.10, as shown in the video below.

Don’t get too excited though. This is, as is now the tradition, “only” a usermode exploit inside of the PSP emulator, running through an undisclosed PSP game, and The Z has not announced anything about a release.

To some of you, this might sound like a broken record now, but new people...
