155w ago - PlayStation Store Director Grace Chen is here with details on the PlayStation Plus subscriber offers for October, 2011 as follows:

It's another good month to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber with some amazing free games and discounts for October!

Leading things off is Costume Quest; Double Fine Productions' stand-out adventure RPG where your Halloween costumes act as conduits to become a force to be reckoned with! With charmingly hilarious characters and story, you'll want to snag this one soon as it will be available free from Plus for two weeks starting October 4th.

New release Elemental Monster is also available free for Plus subscribers starting October 4th and going through the month. Build your deck (featuring the stunning illustrations of Yoshitaka Amano), and battle online to determine who's got the best tactics. At the same time you can enhance your game with seven different Booster Boxes, available at 50% off ($2.50) for Plus subscribers.

Action RPG fans, keep your eyes out for new release Dungeon Defenders later this month. Plus subscribers will be able to get access to free DLC for this awesome blend of Tower Defense and co-op action! The DLC will grant you access to 4 'familiars' in the game that will help you in your adventure.

Sony Outlines PlayStation Plus September Offers for Subscribers

500°
159w ago - Today PlayStation Store Director Grace Chen has outlined the PlayStation Plus September 2011 offers for subscribers, as follows:

Before we get to what's coming to PlayStation Plus, we wanted to let you know that starting today, we're making a slight change to how we communicate PlayStation Plus updates.

Instead of posting twice per month on what's coming to Plus, we're going to be making one post that gives an overview of all the content that's hitting Plus in that particular month.

So today's post will cover content coming in September, and the next post will hit in the first Monday of October. Of course, with every week's Store Update post, you'll know what's going on the Store for Plus on that week.

Now to the good stuff! We've got some great content this month coming free to Plus subscribers including PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies, the furious shoot-em-up Astro Tripper, and the final game in the SEGA Genesis Collection, Altered Beast. The value of all three of these titles adds up to more than a $24 savings, which doesn't include the additional minis and PSone Classics you'll get this month too.

This month also marks a special occasion as we're celebrating the Resident Evil 15th Anniversary with PSone Classics: Resident Evil Director's Cut, Resident Evil...

We also have some other great games available and some of you will notice that games you requested last week on the blog are now in the sale. So don't be scared to make a request and get involved.
