1w ago - Spiders Studio Project Manager Walid Miled posted up a fresh PlayStation 4 trailer video today spotlighting Bound by Flame on PS4, which offers a peek at the new combat details as follows:

Hi readers! This is Walid, producer at Spiders Studios. With the upcoming launch of Bound by Flame - our latest game and our first RPG for PS4 - we decided to tease you a little more with our combat system, via an extensive combat trailer explaining its mechanics. Enjoy!

Bound by Flame features real-time combat that's tactically deep, dynamic, and spectacular. Defeating your enemies won't be an easy task, as every single monster and creature you'll encounter has its own behavior, strengths, and weaknesses you'll have to exploit in order to tear them into pieces.

You'll be given access to three different skill trees to develop your character, each tree with its own unique abilities. The Warrior uses two-handed swords, axes, and war hammers to break his enemy's defenses and inflict heavy damage, while the stealthy Ranger dual wields daggers to sneak up on his enemies for devastating backstabs - and then fights the survivors in fast-paced melee combat. The Pyromancer channels the fiery powers of the demon: hurl fireballs, light...

Backgammon Blitz Comes to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita This Winter

1w ago - Head of Mobile Robert Karp at The Fyzz Facility announced today that Backgammon Blitz is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita this Winter (Tuesday in the US).

To quote: Update: We are very pleased to share that Backgammon Blitz will be launching April 15th for PS3, PS Vita and PS4, priced at a bargain $7.99 Not only do you get the first ever recreation of this age-old board game for latest and greatest generation of consoles, but there is also the brand new and exclusive Blitz arcade mode, which takes the wonderful game of Backgammon and adds a whole new layer of depth and strategy.

I'm just the messenger, of course. The talented folks behind this lovely little title are known as VooFoo. Having made a name for themselves with Hustle Kings and Pure Chess, Backgammon feels like a step onwards and upwards for the studio, taking all of their strengths (gorgeous art design, a subtle but stylish approach to UI) and none of their weaknesses (cake night each Friday has always been their Achilles heel) into the next generation of platforms. VooFoo Studios yet again have done a fantastic job of making their visuals really stand out from the crowd - just check these screen shots below.

For me - and I hope you'll agree once you've gone hands-on with the final game - VooFoo aren't "just" developers...

1w ago - Sony Content Manager Ed Casey made available a video today inviting fans to challenge the world on PlayStation 4 in Trials Fusion PS4 below.

To quote: If there's one thing better than blazing through one of Trials Fusion's trickiest courses, it's knowing you did it faster – and with fewer crashes – than your friends.

Online leaderboards lie at the heart of the Trials universe, and with Trials Fusion on PS4 we're taking that competitive experience one step further.

Trials Fusion will pit you against racers all around the world in a heated battle to dominate the global leaderboards with your fastest times and even your highest FMX scores.

Built off the core framework of Trials Evolution, Trials Fusion now makes it easier than ever to track your rivals' progress and one-up their top race times. This is your chance to prove your skills, crash now and then, and prove that within your battered, broken rib cage beats the heart of a champion.

And for those who want more immediate gratification when smoking their rivals, Trials Fusion also supports 4-player local multiplayer races and FMX courses. Just promise not to throw a controller at your friends when you face-plant at the finish line.
