113w ago - Hothead Games Director of Game Technology Joel DeYoung has made available a PSN launch trailer video today on Swarm which is hitting PlayStation Network soon.
To quote: We're super excited that Swarm is finally about to be released on PlayStation Network. The genesis of the original idea for the game stretches all the way back to 2006, shortly after we started Hothead.
There was an indie video game developer contest we wanted to enter, so we brainstormed a ton of ideas on what to submit. Dr. Mike Hayward, Hothead's resident Ph.D., brought forward a concept based on his doctoral research in artificial life.
He called it Swarm and it had plenty of science cred. We thought this was our contest winner, so we came up with a cute adorable character to go with his tech, the swarmite, and got to work on a prototype.
In the end we did very well in that contest, placing in the final four, winning the people's choice vote, and garnering $300,000 in winnings. Every time we wore a Swarm t-shirt in public, invariably someone would ask us about the character. People really seemed to like it. So we knew we were onto something. We just had one problem: what we created wasn't really a game.
Today we introduce you to Sergeant William Kirby who's both squad leader and Rifleman in Fireteam Outlaw 2 Bravo.
He's seen it all and some more. The insurgents, they've got blood thirst, and the PLA ain't too friendly either. It'll be his leadership that will keep you alive.
As a little extra bonus for all you readers we raided the Red River studio and came away with this exclusive screenshot, just for you. This shows Outlaw 2 Bravo and another sunny old day in Tajikistan.
Can't get enough? We've got tonnes of great videos, screenshots and more over at flashpointgame.com. You can also like us on facebook and follow us on twitter for the latest Red River developments. Dismissed!
117w ago - SCEA Associate Product Marketing Manager Chuck Lacson has shared a new InFamous 2 PS3 Karma trailer video today and more, as follows:
Today we kick off the weekend with GTTV's visit to Sucker Punch and a new trailer where Cole is caught between two women. (That guy has it rough, doesn't he?)
New Karma Duality Trailer
So we've been talking a lot about the game's new Karma system the last few weeks. The Western interpretation of Karma (according to my good friend Wikipedia) states that performing positive actions results in a good condition and negative actions results in bad effect and situations.
In inFAMOUS 2, Cole will have new powers and will come across many crossroads. Ultimately, it will be up to you to decide the path you want him to walk. Look out for Cole's good and evil outfits, a sneak peek of a new faction he has to face, and a small taste of Cole's new ICE POWERS!

And with support for the PlayStation Move sharp shooter, Killzone 3 is accessible to experienced and casual players alike.
I would like to take a moment to extend my gratitude to the fans in the Killzone community, who have supported and cheered us on over the course of Killzone 3′s development, and to everyone who participated in the online multiplayer beta trials, for helping us make Killzone 3 the best game possible.
We hope you enjoy it, and we look forward to seeing you in Killzone 3′s online multiplayer mode. Now, without further ado - go out and buy it!
136w ago - Atlus USA Project Lead Clayton Chan has made available a hilarious new Rock of Ages PS3 Renaissance trailer today, which is heading to PSN in Spring 2011.
To quote: In KT Tunstall's new single, she bemoans the fact that she didn't get to be several of the things she envisioned becoming, one of those things being a rock of ages.
Well, fret no more, KT! We've got the cure for those incredibly specific blues right here! In our 2011 title, Rock of Ages, you will finally get to be a Rock of Ages. Sisyphus's Rock of Ages, to be precise.
Maybe you two will grab a drink and reminisce sometime about that one time he was rolling you up a hill and then he slipped, and you rolled all the way back down...or the other time that happened.
The guys at ACE Team have put together this wonderfully lighthearted, action-packed trailer that highlights the rush you'll from careening into would-be obstacles at high speed.
Sure, your opponent's going to have some defenses set up, but fortune (and physics) generally favors the boulder. (We're never going to run out of rock puns, folks. I could talc all day about them.)
