5w ago - XGen Studios CEO and Founder Skye Boyes shared a video today on Super Motherload on PS4 which explores both the story and game modes below.
To quote: With just one week until Super Motherload launches alongside PS4, I'm eager to share with you PlayStation.Blog readers a bit about what makes Super Motherload tick, as well as show off a brand new video to set the scene.
Super Motherload is an arcade style digging adventure for one to four players, set on Mars in the retro future (And if that's not a mouthful enough, you're welcome to add "Soviet space race," "B movie sci-fi," and "mining puzzler" to the mix!).
Inspired by our original game, Motherload, we wanted to bring Mars mining to consoles and breathe some life back into the four-player, couch co-op style of gameplay that we love and miss so much. Online play can't hold a candle to a good, "reassuring" elbow to the ribs when your buddy goes in the wrong direction with no fuel to spare.

5w ago - Sony European Brand Manager Penrose Tackie shared some full Gran Turismo 6 game details with fans today alongside a new PS3 trailer video below.
To quote: Hello everyone. For GT fans eagerly awaiting Gran Turismo 6, the next four weeks might just be completely unbearable. To help ease the wait, I am very happy to share with you new information on what is shaping up to be a stunning new entry in the legendary series.
Over 120 new cars have been added to GT6 - taking the already comprehensive total car tally to an unprecedented 1200+ vehicles.
In addition, the number of track layouts has swelled to 100 and features returning classic tracks and brand new locations and circuits such as Ascari, Spain and the world famous Silverstone, Goodwood and Mount Panorama tracks to name just a few.
The carefully considered and curated car and track list is supported by a completely overhauled physics engine making gameplay even more dynamic and realistic, a new interface, and enhanced online functionality to allow you to tailor your multiplayer gaming sessions as you wish.
The technical innovation in the game also extends to hugely ground-breaking technology that will see in future updates a new game feature known as 'GPS Logger'.
6w ago - Following up on the previous update, today PlayStation 3 developer StevenCapes has unofficially updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 2.58.1 followed by v2.58.2 (DEX) and v2.58.3 dubbed Simplicity v2.58 with the changes outlined below.
To quote: Simplicity v2.58 - A Simple Kind of Loader - Brought to you by StephenCapes
Simplicity is a modified version of the well known backup loaded “Iris Manager”. The source version I started with is v2.58 by Estwald. The main reason for this fork was to simplify the GUI and make it look a little more polished. This is my first PS3 Homebrew release so go easy on me and let me know areas I could improve.
