261w ago - Inversion is a third-person co-op shooter that combines hard-hitting, adrenaline-pumping action with a revolutionary gravity manipulation engine.

Featuring the Grappler weapon, players will be able to manipulate gravity for their own purposes soon on Sony's PS3 and the Microsoft XBox 360 console.

Press Release: 21st October 2009 - NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S today announced INVERSION for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system.

Packed to the brim with action, INVERSION also introduces revolutionary gravity-wielding combat, zero gravity environments, vector changes, and a unique destructible cover system. INVERSION is planned for release in 2010.

In addition to the free demo, PlayStation Home items can be unlocked for those who visit the space. All in all, it looks as though Home fans (casual and hardcore) will have a lot to look forward to.

Namco Bandai Reveals Noby Noby Boy Details, Hits PSN Thursday

400°
296w ago - Today Keita Takahashi of Namco Bandai Games describes the type of game Noby Noby Boy (releasing on PSN this Thursday, February 19) is. To quote:

Basically players can control and stretch Boy, the main character of the game. As players stretch Boy, the lengths to which he grows are uploaded to a persistent character known as Girl, who grows at the same rate as the combined length of all the players in the world.

Girl starts at Earth and expands around the solar system. When Girl reaches a new milestone in the solar system, new areas are unlocked as playable stages for everyone around the world.

One big question most people have asked is, "Why did you want to make such a game?" Seriously, I don't know. When I figure it out, I'll share it on this blog. In the meantime, please take a moment to watch this video.

Well, that's the best that I can do to explain the game, but I know people will still go, "Hmm..."

How come it's hard to explain, you ask? It's because I wanted to make a game that cannot be expressed by words in the first place. By making an undefined and ambitious game, I want the player's reaction to be something like, "I don't know why, but it's somehow interesting. I can't stop...

Namco: Tekken on XBox 360 is About Reaching Europe and the US

50°
306w ago - Namco Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada has told Kikizo that doing a 360 version of Tekken 6 was a matter of common sense: there are simply too many green consoles in the world market to ignore. To quote:

Kikizo: You remember close to the beginning of the series, a time when Tekken was very closely associated with PlayStation. Obviously it's not just PlayStation now, so what would you say the sort of die-hard PlayStation fans who maybe feel 'betrayed'?

Harada: Yes, we have developed it PlayStation 1, 2 and now 3, so it is true that we have really grown with the PlayStation brand - we have a lot of fond memories, and we worked very closely with Mr Kutaragi as well, so we had a really good relationship. We love the platform.

But rather than some fans feeling disappointed, there are a lot of Xbox users out there at the moment, and a great deal of fans who only have an Xbox and really want to play Tekken, which is the number one in the fighting genre. And we just had so many fans that said "we really want to get our hands on it, but can't."

So we wanted to answer those fans. And it's also the timing at this point - at the moment we have two high spec consoles on the market...
