35w ago - Executive Producer Tommi Halonen announced today that SingOn launches on PlayStation 3 this Spring with details below.

To quote: Free-to-try singing game comes with 10 tracks, and thousands more to purchase!

Hello and welcome to a new kind of singing game! SingOn is brought to you by [Register or Login to view links] from Oulu, Finland. The company formed in 2009 with the goal to modernize singing games, turning them into something sleek and current.

The game has been designed for easy and agile usability so that everyone can grab a mic and have a good time straightaway. An important point for us is to make sure SingOn's always current.

Our dynamic streaming services allows us to launch with thousands of songs including rock, pop, indie, dance and hip-hop classics and to update the game every week with all the tracks from the UK Top 20 Chart. Even within the company we have widely varying music tastes so we know how important it is to offer something for everyone!

From a design point of view we wanted a simple, clean and modern interface. The lyrics are the heart of the game - guiding you on the melody and sparkling to let you know if you have sung high, low or on-pitch.

As well as great music, we've also included party-friendly voice...

Luftrausers Launches Today on PS3 and PlayStation Vita Platforms

36w ago - Vlambeer's Rami Ismail announced that Luftrausers launches today on PS3 and PlayStation Vita platforms with details below.

To quote: We started Luftrausers halfway through 2011, when Jan Willem at Vlambeer was staring out of a window on a late flight from San Francisco to Amsterdam after the annual Game Developers Conference. He decided he wanted to expand on a little prototype we made back in 2010.

The pitch Jan Willem had for me was simple: the prototype had been made in two days, but had been played by hundreds of thousands of people. Jan Willem felt we might've run into something special with the simple high score game we had released for free to the internet. We started working on the very first version of our little 2D dogfighting game in just four colors.

We made a deal not to play the original until the new version was as good as we remembered the original to be, and we were surprised at how much of a struggle that was.

We added bigger explosions, we worked on a dynamic camera system, we added trails of smoke on crashing jets, and we even added extra colors to the palette. It still took us almost a month to achieve the same level of speed, of chaos, and of impact that the far simpler...

39w ago - XSEED Games Localization Specialist Ryan Graff announced today that Ragnarok Odyssey Ace launches on PS3 and PS Vita on April 1st, 2014 with a video trailer below.

To quote: As I write this, we're putting the finishing touches on Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, a revised and expanded version of the original Ragnarok Odyssey set to launch on April 1st on PS3 and PS Vita.

Now that we're just about done, we can go into more detail about what's in the game, and what newcomers and returning Ragnarok Odyssey veterans can expect.

Initially designed for play on the go, Ragnarok Odyssey gets players into the action as fast as possible, either solo or with up to three companions. Players complete a variety of missions in a Norse-themed wildland, collecting treasures, components and ingredients along the way.

In between missions, players can roam their home base - a fortress on the edge of the civilized world - and assemble their loot into new upgrades and abilities. The game's highlights are its battles against enormous bosses, in which players use their gravity-defying powers to fly circles around the giants and take them apart piece by piece.

ACE takes the original Odyssey's core gameplay and expands...

Capcom: Dustforce Launches Today on PS3 and PlayStation Vita

42w ago - Capcom Producer Rey Jimenez announced that Dustforce launches today on both PS3 and PlayStation Vita platforms with details below.

To quote: In any other context outside of games, "S" rank being the pinnacle of grades wouldn't make sense. But since we're talking games here, we all know that the "S" rank is where it's at.

I have a theory that it originated in Japanese games (where many of the great gaming traditions started) and their disregard for A being the first letter of the alphabet. Whether or not that's true, the tradition of Capcom platforming lives on in Dustforce, which launches today on PS3 and PS Vita.

Originally made by Hitbox Team and released for PC, Dustforce caught our eye because it shares a few elements of the best platformers we've made: challenge, design, and soundtrack.

Dustforce seems very simple at first glance, and it really is. The idea is to move your acrobatic janitor through the level as fast as you can, while cleaning all the dirt, dust, and grime. You're given a few abilities to do this: double jumps, wall runs, dashes, etc.

There are also some tricks that you need to learn, like down dashing onto a slope for max speed, or learning to dash as soon as you land to maintain dash speed. Using these tools, it's up to you to find the...
