210w ago - Today Sony's Senior Vice President of Marketing & PlayStation Network Peter Dille has shared a few videos from the new 'Step Your Game Up' PSP and PSPgo campaign which feature Kevin Butler and Marcus Rivers.

To quote: Back in September, I had the pleasure of introducing a new face to the PlayStation Nation through our "It Only Does Everything" ad campaign for PlayStation 3.

You've blown us away with an outpouring of positive feedback to the campaign and for [Register or Login to view links]. In fact, the response was so great that we invited [Register or Login to view links] where he brought down the house.

We also showed the first glimpse of a new campaign featuring Kevin's new apprentice, [Register or Login to view links], who wants to help spread the word about fact that the PSP and PSPgo are the only true solutions for those gamers who want to play the best, richest and deepest games on the go.

Today I'm excited to share with you more of this new "[Register or Login to view links]" campaign, currently airing on over 19 networks as well as during several high-profile events.

Video: Sony PlayStation Move TV Commercial with Kevin Butler

226w ago - Today AlternativeChaos from GameTrailers shared a new PlayStation Move TV commercial video, which features the popular Sony spokesman Kevin Butler.

If you missed it at GDC, PlayStation Move is Sony's upcoming motion-sensing game controller platform for the PS3 video game console, previously named simply the PlayStation Motion Controller.

Based on handheld motion controller wand, PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye webcam to track the wand's position, and inertial sensors in the wand to detect its motion.

PlayStation Move is slated for worldwide launch in Q3/Q4 2010, and hardware available at launch includes the main PlayStation Move motion controller, and an optional PlayStation Move sub-controller.

Sony VP: Kevin Butler to Star in PlayStation Ads for Rest of 2010

232w ago - In a recent [Register or Login to view links] with IGN, Sony VP Peter Dille revealed that Kevin Butler will be starring in PlayStation ads for rest of 2010.

Dille commented on the company's new "It Only Does Everything" slogan and marketing campaign as follows, to quote:

"It's been tremendously successful. Consumers love it. It's great to hear people like you guys love it. And the results are really in the sales because it's really been flying since this coincided in September with the launch of the new PS3."

The tremendous success of the ad campaign has guaranteed its continuation through 2010.

"You can expect to see Kevin Butler inject a lot of life into the PlayStation brand between now and the rest of the year," Dille commented, and promised we'd see the tagline quite a bit "when motion control comes onto the scene."
