I hope you're ready for lots of Heavy Rain content, because while we were at the big Launch Party in Paris this week we managed to secure a nice amount of interview and video content which should tide you over until well after the game comes out next week.
To kick things off we've got a short teaser video and some photos which should give you an idea of what the launch event was like. I would've loved for you all to have been there with us, but hopefully this is the next best thing.

199w ago - In a recent interview with Norwegian publication Dagbladet, creator David Cage stated that Heavy Rain initially had Motion Control planned for Sony's PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: "If you are talking about Motion Control, this is something we initially considered for Heavy Rain. The very first version of the game design was based on motion control, but it was not feasible at the time," he said.
Dagbladet later helped us confirm via one of Cage's reps that he had hoped to design the game for the PlayStation Motion Controller originally, but felt the tech simply wasn't far enough along.
Cage went on to add, "I have a lot of interest in Sony's motion device and there is a good chance that we announce something about it in the coming weeks."
199w ago - For those who missed the hidden update, Sony's Product Marketing Manager Jefferson Dong has revealed that the Heavy Rain PS3 demo is officially forecasted for this Thursday on PSN.
To quote: While this might be true for the weather in some parts of the country this week, the game demo for Heavy Rain will be available worldwide through the PlayStation Store on Thursday, February 11, 2010. Mark this on your calendar!
This PlayStation 3 exclusive demo will feature two full chapters from the game, in which players will immerse themselves in the roles of Norman Jayden, a FBI profiler brought in to help local law enforcement find and capture the Origami Killer, and Scott Shelby, a private investigator hired by families of past victims to bring their killer to justice.

If you're experiencing heavy rain this Thursday, feel free to stay inside to download and play the demo of Heavy Rain.
200w ago - European Product Manager Alex Pavey has shared a recap today on Four Days: The Heavy Rain PS3 Online Experience, as follows:
Last week saw the second chapter of Four Days: The Heavy Rain Online Experience unfold.
The investigation took a dark turn, as participants took part in a criminal investigation - handling an emergency call, investigating crime scene evidence, questioning a well-meaning but unreliable witness, and ultimately submitting data to the Bureau for further analysis.
At the end of the week, all those who submitted the correct evidence pack from the crime scene were given an exclusive voucher code to download the Heavy Rain playable demo from the PlayStation Store. The demo will not be made generally available until this Thursday, 11th February - so there's still time for you to get involved and get hold of the demo early.
