123w ago - Following up on his previous update, PlayStation 3 hacker No_One has now announced that the PS3 3.60 Slim NOR Flash has been dumped via PNM board socket and the 3.6x keys may be coming soon.
To quote: Hi mates, I'm going to be on vacations for 3 weeks. I just wanted to tell you that PNM project will be stopped during this period.
But, i've some great news for you. I successfully dumped a 3.60 NOR flash using one of the socket ! The second socket has been validated too. We are not far from our main goal : "jailbreak again the PS3" !
Here are some snapshots:

155w ago - A few days back we reported on Mount Alejandro PS3 Dev Flash Homebrew by Spanish developers JaiCraB and ps3mrenigma, and today ps3mrenigma has explained it in further detail on his blog (linked above).
To quote, roughly translated: First of all, apologize for making this post nearly a week after the appearance of the application,
Unfortunately I have the time to update the blog as I wanted, but nevertheless, better late than never,
I want to thank all those who have had words of thanks to the program, I am pleased to see that it was well accepted.
Although I could not help but read some comments that came a few days ago and that made me laugh, lack of knowledge by giving statements without really knowing how the application.
That is why what has happened to answer some questions that might exist.
A. Do you use 'Alexander' some unknown exploit?
The answer is NO. The method that uses 'Alexander' to perform its function is very simple, there is nothing magical nor is it an exploit, as I read, still laughing a while ago of some user.
While exploits in the PS3 know, none of them is used in 'Alexander', are not necessary...
156w ago - Here's a small app called n4ru Flash Loader, a successor to JaicraB's Loader, I made in a few minutes. It's completely untested as I have no access to a PS3 until Monday and thus may not work at all, so feedback would be appreciated.
It uses the SynaPS3 library, even though it only uses 1 function from the library. No harm in self-advertisement for my (baby-stage) library?
Jaicrab's Loader was made when we still had to use peek/poke to remount directories. We now have syscall8 (hermes) and syscall35 (PL3) for remounting directories. This makes things much easier.
This loader is universal and works with both Hermes and PL3. Create a folder called "cfw" on the root of your device and place the "dev_flash" folder inside it. Then create another folder called "cfw" INSIDE your "dev_flash" folder.
