22w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with this weeks new PlayStation game releases below, as follows:

Word on the (dark, abandoned) street is that Outlast frightens people. Intensely. PlayStation gamers can experience that for themselves when the hit survival horror game comes to PS4 this week, bringing with it a torrent of nightmares and cold sweats.

Set in the abandoned Mount Massive Asylum, Outlast depicts the chilling and dangerous investigation of freelance journalist Miles Upshur. Miles enters Mount Massive following an anonymous tip, and soon finds himself engulfed in unimaginable horrors. This first-person survival game showcases immense scares and a focus on atmosphere. Night lights may be required.

For those gamers averse to horror games, the fast-paced platformer [Register or Login to view links] also launches on PS3 and PS Vita this week. Traverse 2D environments and sweep up dust while racing the clock. Perfect every jump, nail every attack, and clear increasingly complex stages - all while freeing adorable animals from the clutches of dirt and grime. Really!

There's lots more coming to the world of PlayStation, so read on for a complete list of new releases. And enjoy the Drop!

23w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer shared a PlayStation Plus February 2014 video game preview below today, as follows:

Typically when you think of February, your mind goes to chocolates, flowers, and other lovey-dovey things. So we thought we'd celebrate this sappy month by scaring the bejesus out of you with Outlast on PS4.

We also have some great single-player PS3 experiences, including Metro: Last Light, a first-person shooter with an interesting take on morality, and Remember Me, a third-person action adventure where you'll take down an evil corporation by beating lots of people up with your own unique combos and messing with people's memories.

If you have a significant other, you might be able to rope him or her into some bank-robbing action with Payday 2 on PS3. After all, everyone likes stealing stuff. I mean, uh nevermind.

Finally, two PS Vita titles are joining the Instant Game Collection: Street Fighter X Tekken and ModNation Racers: Road Trip. Both include functionality with their respective PS3 versions. Fight against your friends in Street Fighter X Tekken no matter what platform they have, or download your previously made PS3 creations and use them in ModNation Racers: Road Trip.

34w ago - NIS America Marketing Coordinator David Alonzo announced today that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc hits PS Vita on February 11th, 2014.

To quote: Hey, doods! It's your humble Prinny David from NIS America here to school you with a cohesive thesis on our upcoming title, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - a revised and revamped edition of the very first Danganronpa that appeared on PSP in Japan in 2010.

The game is set to release on February 11th in North America, exclusively on PS Vita - just in time for Valentine's Day! You guys ready to fall in love with some ultimate brutality?

In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, you take on the role of Makoto Naegi - an excruciatingly ordinary teenager who one day finds himself accepted into Hope's Peak Academy. This is an ultra-prestigious school meant only for the best and the brightest and basically anyone but the ordinary.

Some of Makoto's fellow classmates include Leon, the Ultimate Baseball Star; Chihiro, the Ultimate Programmer; and Sayaka, the Ultimate Pop Sensation, so what's a guy like Makoto doing here?

Looks like Makoto's got enough to deal with trying to find his place amongst Japan's teen elite, but things get a little tougher when he suddenly falls unconscious and finds himself rudely awakened by an evil...
