Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD Comes to PSN on December 27th

159w ago - Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray has announced today that Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD is coming to PSN on December 27, 2011 and a week earlier on the 21st in Europe.

To quote: We've been working on Stranger's Wrath, one way or another for around 15 months now. From the initial discussions, to actually starting work on the project true, to then getting it done!

As most of you may know we originally planned to release the game around Easter, to be able to do that we were to have started full development in September last year, but as it transpired, we didn't actually start until April 2011, which gave us our hoped late Summer release; but we ended up spending another couple of months on it, so here we are DONE AND DUSTED for release.

As such I'm extremely pleased to announce that [Register or Login to view links] HD will release on December 27th in North America for $14.99. And we will be releasing worldwide! (all stores, except for the Far East/Russia/Ukraine and Portugal at this time).

We had planned on shipping with support for stereoscopic 3D and PlayStation Move and a few other little things, due to time limits we are not able to bring those features in this initial version. However we WILL be bringing them in an update in a couple...
 

European PSN Game Store Updates for December 7, 2011

This week we are bursting with full PSN games for you to enjoy including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Dragon Age 2, Just Cause 2, The Sly Trilogy, Mortal Kombat Arkade Kollection (yes it is finally here!) and much, much more. So check them out today.

We also have a couple of new PSP games for you. For the apprentice wizards in we have LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5 to 7 and for the detectives in training there is The Mystery Team, both available from PlayStation Store today.

Now for downloadable content (dlc) the big one that is out this week is Battlefield 3 - Back to Karkand pack. This pack includes 4 maps from Battlefield 2, Strike of Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula and Wake Island. We also have Resistance 3 - Brutality Pack and the long awaited Pink Knight for Castle Crashers.

It's a week of amazing DLC with the release of Add-ons for Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3 hitting PlayStation Network in a big way.

Battlefield 3 multiplayer expands with Back to Karkand, available first and exclusively on PSN.

Featuring four of the most loved Battlefield maps ever reimagined with the power of the Frostbite 2 engine, this DLC gives you new weapons, vehicles, dog tags, and persistence in the form of all-new "assignments" to carry out on the battlefield.

The sweet and sexy Mila Kunis stars in the comedy hit Friends with Benefits debuting today in New Releases. Watch as her relationship with co-star Justin Timberlake (The Social Network) moves from casual to complicated.
