Disgaea 4 is Coming to PS Vita, NISA 2014 Lineup Detailed

24w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements detailed the NISA 2014 lineup today confirming that Disgaea 4 is indeed coming to PS Vita.

To quote: Last night, the small but spunky team at NIS America reminded downtown San Francisco of its dedication to quirky JRPGs and unusual adventures.

Sporting matching white and blue "Dood" jerseys, the team presented its lineup for 2014 at a local venue, with a little help from a torrent of teaser trailers. Anime in-jokes, self-referential dialogue, and explosions of color dominated the multimedia showcase, staying true to NISA's tradition of catering to otaku culture.

The evening began with NIS President Souhei Niikawa - donning a regal [Register or Login to view links] - thanking members of the press for their continued support. Niikawa also revealed that NIS is working on a PS4 game that would enjoy a proper announcement at this year's Tokyo Game Show.

His brief but humble wishes were followed with a host of trailers, each representing one of NISA's projects for the year.

Greetings, and welcome to another missive from the mighty Aksys Citadel. As the North American launch of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma draws ever closer, we thought it'd be good idea to talk a little bit about the game - especially all the new features and characters, not to mention the special edition and all of its various doodads. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma for PS3

First of all, there are a few system changes in Chrono Phantasma that set it apart from previous versions of the game. One of the most obvious additions is the Overdrive ability. By initiating Overdrive, you'll be able to amplify a character's overall skills and abilities for a set period of time.

When Overdrive is active, the stage will go dark, letting you know it's time to get down to business. When used to its fullest, the Overdrive system will allow a player to turn the tide of battle and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!

To quote: We recently added the first batch of sounds to Road Not Taken, and the team got really excited, like the game was finally coming together!

It's funny because it was such a small thing in relation to the huge amount of work that has already gone into the game, but it really highlights the difference sound can make in the way we experience things.

The world of Road Not Taken is made up of magical and natural surroundings. That makes me happy, because even though I love the bleeps and bloops you can get from synthesis, my favorite way to make sounds is from scratch like a [Register or Login to view links].

It just so happened that I started working on the RNT audio catalog in the fall, right when there were piles of dried leaves everywhere - perfect! I brought a bucket of them inside and rustled them, crunched and dropped them... my studio was a mess!

Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Collector's Edition Detailed, PS Vita Release

32w ago - Square Enix Senior Product Manager Sakura Minamida shared details today on the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Collector's Edition alongside the PS Vita release date below.

To quote: When we announced the Limited Edition of Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster, we got a lot of questions about the Vita version. We promised we'd share the details with you when we had them, and now we do.

So let's open this up with some good news. The game will be coming to PS Vita on March 18th alongside the PS3 version. It will support cross save functionality, and will retail for $39.99!

The combo pack will also be available as a download on PlayStation Store. If you prefer a physical copy, you can buy Final Fantasy X at retail, which will include a voucher to download Final Fantasy X-2 from the PlayStation Store.

Below are the details, to quote: Hi everyone, I'm Scot Amos, executive producer at Crystal Dynamics. On January 28th of 2014, we're bringing the award-winning Tomb Raider experience to PS4 in the form of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Recreating our franchise for PS4 was a true labor of love for the team. The critically acclaimed story and action adventure remain solidly intact and as riveting as ever. However, we took the opportunity to use the increased horsepower of the hardware to create the Tomb Raider we always envisioned.

We had a core team here at Crystal collaborating with the super talented teams at United Front Games (who worked with Square Enix on Sleeping Dogs) and Nixxes (whom Crystal has partnered with since the Legacy of Kain days). Together, we pulled the game apart and painstakingly rebuilt it with enhanced visual fidelity, realism, and a new immersive richness to the world.
