Video: Crysis - Unbelievable Custom Map

330w ago - Crysis was thankfully blessed with an editor that allowed gamers to create their own mods, assets, and levels. I remember visiting a Crysis modification site, and taking a look at a modification that would drop a nuke and deplete everything in it's path for a good few miles. Today I came across another modification.

This time it's a custom level built for Crysis, and boy am I beyond belief. If you think you've put hard work into a modification then maybe you should take a look at the following pictures.

This medieval level is known as Niveus, and the artist who created this stunning level is Andrew "androkles" Hasko. The level is currently reported to run at 5fps on his machine. I'm right now speechless after taking a look at the pictures. Video can be seen below.. Enjoy.

Crysis Warhead System Requirements Revealed

332w ago - The Crysis Warhead system requirements have been revealed at the EA Store. As expected they are pretty much the same as the Crysis system requirements, the only difference is the required HDD space:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista), Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista), AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or better
RAM: 1GB (1.5GB on Windows Vista)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 Pro for Vista) or better

Crysis Wars: First Gameplay Trailer Available

"Crysis Wars is the multiplayer game that comes with Crysis Warhead. Here is the first trailer for the game, including some gameplay footage."

Crysis, CoD4 and BioShock now playable on Eee PC

340w ago - StreamMyGame makes it possible to play the best and most graphically demanding PC games on ultra portable notebooks.

StreamMyGame has announced support for the new range of ultra portable notebooks, including the Asus Eee PC and Ebox and over 100 other UMPCs. The new StreamMyGame software runs at full screen resolution on both Windows and Linux versions of the Eee PC.

"The Linux player has been requested by our Eee PC members and has been optimised to run on both the original and new ranges of the Eee PC. The Window's player has also been optimised." said Richard Faria, StreamMyGame's CEO. Video of Crysis running on the Eee PC below:





"You can have your games installed on your home PC and play them on your Netbook around the home and remotely, providing a portable gaming experience on screens that have resolutions of 1024x600," said Faria.

"There are over 100 Netbooks and UMPCs that are now compatible with our technology and we will guarantee similar compatibility with the MID market."

StreamMyGame says titles including Crysis, Call of Duty 4, BioShock and Half-Life 2 can now be played "smoothly and without lag on the Eee PC and other UMPCs providing a responsive gaming experience".
