217w ago - Last week Marcan posted a video of AsbestOS running Linux on PS3 3.41 without OtherOS via GameOS, and today mrgatz85 has modified Hermes [Register or Login to view links] and released a Beta of his own followed by MrGatz85 & Cael's Open AsbestOS Loader.

218w ago - A few weeks back PlayStation 3 developer Marcan named his PS3 Linux Bootloader on Firmware 3.41 AsbestOS, and today he has shared a video of it in action below along with the following details, to quote:

"As most of you will probably already know, I've been working on a project recently which aims to run Linux on the PS3 using the PSJailbreak exploit, effectively replacing GameOS on the fly.

220w ago - Nintendo Wii developer Marcan has been sharing updates via [Register or Login to view links] on his progress with a PS3 Linux bootloader, one that is currently working on PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.41 (including on the PS3 Slim) and now named AsbestOS.
