68w ago - 24 Caret Games Co-founder Matt Gilgenbach announced that Retro / Grade's backwards battle officially begins today!
From the official announcement, to quote: It's been a long journey since our first post about Retro/Grade over three years ago.
We've worked very hard creating the best game we possibly can since then - if you saw the three year old screenshots, you'll notice that it's barely recognizable as the polished product you see today.
Besides all the visual polish we added - like jaw-dropping effects and full HD 1080p rendering at 60 frames-per-second with anti-aliasing - we've added a ton of content.
Although we have a campaign mode, challenge mode is really the star of Retro/Grade. It's where the real meat of the game lies. In challenge mode, you are presented with a galaxy map, and you go through playing various challenges that are based on the campaign levels, but with various twists and rule changes.
For example, in some of the challenges, the music is sped up, which naturally makes completing the level more difficult. We also have challenges that require you to reach certain score targets, have trickier patterns, and plenty more! There are 130 challenges spanning a map filled with secret paths, warps, and rewards.
69w ago - SuperBot Entertainment President Chan Park has confirmed today that the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale release is officially moved to November, 2012.
To quote: As you know, we at SuperBot have set high benchmarks for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Our goal is to deliver a fun, well-balanced, and compelling gameplay experience that pays homage to all of these incredible characters.
We also know our fans have high expectations for this title, and to that end, we have decided to move the release date to November 20th, 2012 for North America (including Canada) and Latin America territories.
This will let us spend more time polishing and tuning the game, and it will give us a chance to incorporate some of the great feedback we're receiving from the current limited beta to ensure we are creating the best possible fighting game experience.
While it is our greatest desire to put this game into the hands of our fans as soon as possible, we do not want to do so at the sake of quality. The additional time will be well worth the wait, and are excited to know that our fans will have the ultimate brawler in time for the holiday.
Keep an eye on GamesCom this week, as we've lined up some big announcements that we're sure you'll be excited about. Thanks again for...
71w ago - SuperBot Entertainment President Chan Park has offically announced that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Public Beta is coming this Fall!
Below are the details, to quote: Hey everyone! Last week, SuperBot Entertainment and PlayStation invited a small group of players to get a hands-on preview of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale as part of our early development beta.
We're beginning to test our servers and connectivity issues and this is just the beginning as we work toward rolling out a public beta to the entire PlayStation nation this Fall.
As part of this exclusive access, players were able to take control of characters such as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, PaRappa the Rapper, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess and battle in environments such as Dreamscape, Metropolis, Sandover Village, and Hades.
The feedback we're receiving from beta testers has been highly encouraging and valuable, helping us craft the best online multiplayer fighting experience possible.
In addition, there was an unexpected and unintended leak in our beta that allowed fans to be able to see some additional content.
We've enjoyed reading all of the fan reaction and are thrilled that so many of you are excited to learn more about our character roster and level mash-ups,...

Today at Comic-Con, the SuperBot team led a lively discussion panel that gave attendees a sneak peek at the development of PlayStation All-Stars.
Alongside our very own Chan Park and Omar Kendall, IGN's Greg Miller joined us as a moderator to explore how the team created our super roster of PlayStation characters and environments for the ultimate cross-over brawler.
In addition, they discussed alternate costume decisions, some of the different game modes available, and the concept of the "mash-up." But of course the highlight of the panel was...
