36w ago - Sony European Product Manager Mayumi Donovan has announced today that Ecolibrium is arriving on PlayStation Vita tomorrow.
Below are the details, to quote: Hi everyone. So, you've already been introduced to the wonderful world of Discovery Apps for PlayStation Vita via the weird and funny Frobisher Says!
If you're wondering what's next in line for the series, I'm happy to confirm the arrival of Ecolibrium.
Ecolibrium is an imaginative real-time eco-system simulator where the aim is to maintain harmony within your own created environment. You need to select creatures, plants and artefacts to create a balanced eco-system.
If your eco-system is not balanced, you can feed your animals manually or exile unwanted animals into the wilderness using Vita's near feature for others to pick up for their respective eco-system.
Grow your world by hunting fantastical creatures from the environment around you using GPS or, if you prefer, you can sell or buy them in the online player-to-player auctions.
It's all in aid of giving your eco-system the perfect harmony, so don't be shy! And if you're competitive, try online challenges and climb up the global leaderboards.
38w ago - Frima Studio Executive Producer Martin Brouard has announced today alongside a launch trailer video that Lights, Camera, Party arrives on PlayStation Network today.
To quote: After years in development, release day is finally upon us! We're proud to share Lights, Camera, Party! with the PlayStation world via PSN later today.
We made this game to provide quality entertainment for everyone in the household and to showcase fun and innovative uses of the PlayStation Move motion controller. We've put our heart and soul into this collection of wacky mini-games and hope they make you laugh and have as good of a time as we had making them.
To celebrate the launch of Lights, Camera, Party! we decided to shoot a humorous live-action trailer that spoofs the usual party game ads and conveys the silly and chaotic nature of our game.
I'm really proud of our team's work on the Lights, Camera, Party!, and I wanted to give a few members of the team a chance to talk about their favorite mini-games. Enjoy!
Michael Dube, Lead Programmer:
Feed the Monster: Because cooking a pizza over an active volcano has been a lifelong dream! The game is simple and the feedback is really rewarding...
40w ago - SuperBot Entertainment Community Manager Daniel Maniago has officially revealed several new PlayStation All-Stars PS3 videos today at Gamescom 2012 including Dante, Sackboy, Spike, and Ratchet and Clank below!
To quote: Gamescom is finally upon us, and you know what that means: time for some highly anticipated Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale reveals!
We're thrilled to announce the inclusion of Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank in PlayStation All-Stars! Given the wealth of tools and gadgets at their disposal, it made perfect sense to us to include them in our roster.
This duo is strongest at mid-range, and they can cut off many points of entry with varied angles of attack.
We made sure that iconic Ratchet and Clank weapons such as the Combusto Pistol, the R.Y.N.O., and Tesla Spikes are available for players to utilize on the battlefield.
Clank joins in on the fight wielding his powerful Chronoscepter, and even Mr. Zurkon can be summoned to lend a hand!
Also joining the cast is Spike from Sony Computer Entertainment's franchise Ape Escape -- a character that was on our radar from early on.
41w ago - SuperBot Entertainment Lead Combat Designer Paul Edwards has posted up a PlayStation All-Stars: Sweet Tooth Strategy video for fans today.
Below are the details, to quote: It's Paul Edwards, Lead Combat Designer at SuperBot. I'm here to shed some light on Sweet Tooth's character design, as we continue our PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale character series.
Sweet Tooth has always been closely associated with vehicular combat, rather than hand-to-hand fighting, so when shaping his playstyle we had to rely on his distinct personality and image.
Fortunately, we had direct input from the talented Twisted Metal team (including the man himself, Twisted Metal creator/game director David Jaffe), and we were able to get a great deal of constructive feedback from them through rigorous playtesting.
We also had early access to the newest iteration of Twisted Metal when it was being developed - we drew inspiration for his level 2 super from the new "Nuke Mode" that was introduced in the game.
Sweet Tooth has always had this sort of campy B-movie feel to him, which led us to thinking we should have him use the PS3 controller as a weapon in his super.
42w ago - Today Fun Bits Interactive Team Lead Chris Millar has announced that Escape Plan: Underground DLC officially arrives on PSN this week.
To quote: Escape Plan is tunneling through with new content for everyone this week. The Underground DLC pulls up for a discounted price of just €1.99/£1.59 for two weeks, Patch 1.03 goes live, and we've unpacked a ton of new costumes.
After being denied their freedom from The Asylum, we join Lil and Laarg as they ride the elevator into the depths of Bakuki's Underground. The darkness is filled with a convoluted network of trains, trollies, minions, and dare we say, an escape.
Building off the success of The Asylum, we've added four new costumes to the dressing room. Dress the lovable characters in the new Buzz and Flower Power Summer Pack costumes, with Furry and Tourist costumes unlocked by playing through the 21 Underground levels.
Did we mention the new challenges and four Trophies! Yay, Trophies!
We've also dug into consumer feedback and have added the new squeeze control to the Circle Button. This squeezes Lil while inflated or juiced-up on java.
We've also taken in more of you tips and suggestions and have applied as many as we can to help improve your experience. So we're returning the favour...
