Transistor Coming to PlayStation 4 / PS4 from Creators of Bastion

50°
58w ago - Supergiant Games Creative Director Greg Kasavin announced today that Transistor is coming to PlayStation 4 / PS4 from the creators of Bastion.

To quote: I remember when the seven of us at Supergiant were days away from revealing our first game, Bastion, back at PAX Prime in 2010. The game had been in development for about a year but we were only just figuring out how to talk about it to the public.

When people would ask us "what is this game about," what would we say? We weren't sure at first, because Bastion is an action RPG where an old man talks to you the whole time - and that sounds really, really terrible. Thankfully, those who played it tended to come away with a much more positive impression.

We eventually came up with stuff we could say about Bastion with a straight face, but by far our favorite way of presenting the game to people was to invite them to play it. Now here I am trying to tell you about our next game, Transistor, and I wish I could just hand you a controller and let you try it for yourself.

We revealed it earlier this year at PAX East, and today we've announced it will be making its console debut on the PlayStation 4 when we're finished with it sometime early next year. If you check our reveal trailer, you'll get a feel for what Transistor...

The Walking Dead: 400 Days is a new chapter (also available as DLC for PlayStation 3 owners on PlayStation Network) in the series chronicling the first 400 Days after the outbreak through the eyes of five all-new characters.

This special episode will allow you to choose a character and play through each of their stories in any order, which are all centered around a truck stop on a Georgia highway. Some decisions you may have made in Season One will affect moments of 400 Days, and while we don't want to give away too much yet, we will say that your decisions in 400 Days will echo into future installments of the series.

Sony Announces Malicious Rebirth is Coming to PlayStation Vita

50°
59w ago - Sony Associate Producer Dais Kawaguchi announced today that Malicious Rebirth is coming to PlayStation Vita with details below.

To quote: Today we have great news for everyone - the long-awaited "Malicious Rebirth," a fast-paced action game for the PS Vita, is coming to PSN later this year.

You will be summoned by the prophets once again to take control of the "Spirit Vessel" in full 3D. You'll be forced to rise to the challenge in order to bring peace back to the Kingdom; the character and stage you select is entirely up to you.

You can jump right into epic boss battles in any order, but remember that bosses in later stages become much more challenging.

You'll also use the Mantle of Cinders to dive, glide, defend and perform various types of attacks. In Malicious Rebirth, there are more levels, bosses and powers to acquire than in the original PS3 version, thus making the Mantle much more powerful!

The key to survival lies in your timing with Aura, which you can use to heal yourself or perform powerful attacks on well-defended bosses, so you'll want to go for chain attacks to acquire Aura quickly.

In the coming weeks, we will be announcing more information so check back frequently. In the meantime, check out our new images and leave your thoughts...
