171w ago - Today the PS JailBreak team have confirmed via xiaNaix (linked above) that an updated version 1.1 of the Backup Manager is coming soon which will include new features and tweaks.
Previously it was reported that the PS JailBreak delay was due to a component shortage, however, this was also clarified today, to quote:
"They would also like to clarify that the launch delay was not caused by a parts shortage as originally reported. They are finishing their retail packaging and finalizing the new software."
Finally, the PS JaiLBreak team are assisting Australian resellers who were recently a victim of an injunction by Sony, as follows:
"With the recent injunction in Australia, they have decided to stand behind their dealers and distributors with financial support. They have made a sizable donation to both OzMods and Quantronics to help support the cause!"

Although I'm in Cologne giving demos of PlayTV, I'll do my best to answer any questions you have.

174w ago - Update: PSN Download Manager / Booster is now available to download from HERE with the changes detailed HERE.
I have updated PSN Download Manager / Booster to version 3.41, the thread for v3.27 and older is HERE.
PlayStation Download Manager / Booster is an application designed to increase the download speeds of the PlayStation Network, it can install both free and paid content as long as you've paid for it.
In order to create a speed boost, it creates multiple segments which will draw data from the servers using multi-threading, this allows you to achieve the maximum speed of your line; unlike the PS3 which uses only 1 transfer.
Your PC can also be faster at downloading in general due to several factors, including it's connection method, processor speed, RAM and TCP Optimizations.

To quote: The 2010/11 season in only a few weeks away now and if you love your football as much as we do here at Urbanscan, the home of Premier Manager, then you'll have spent most of the summer so far desperately waiting to hear about the great new signing who is going to transform your favourite Club's fortunes.
The build up to the new season can be as frustrating as it is exciting, everyone else seems to be spending millions on brilliant new players whilst your club has sold its best player, probably to Manchester City, and replaced him with a player you've never heard of for a fraction of the cost!
Well, here at Premier Manager, the brand new PSN exclusive football management game for the PlayStation 3 launching on 28th July, we understand your frustration.
Indeed the atmosphere in our office as the new season approaches changes on an hourly basis as rumours filter in about who is moving where. We understand so much that we have a suggestion that might help.
Forget about the real manager of your club, what does he know? Take matters into your own hands and build the team you want to succeed this season. If you...
