.Detuned is Available for PS3 Tomorrow on PSN for $2.99

100°
276w ago - Today Sony Santa Monica Studios Sr. Producer Rusty Buchert has announced that .Detuned will be available for PS3 tomorrow on PSN for $2.99.

To quote: I just wanted check in and let you know that .detuned will be available for download from the PlayStation Network beginning tomorrow for $2.99!

For those of you that aren't familiar with .detuned, it is another experiment with the [Register or Login to view links] and was made by .theprodukkt. (yes, there is supposed to be a period at the beginning of the name), who are located in Germany and have been a very influential group in the scene for over a decade.

So what the heck is .detuned? It isn't exactly a game or an art piece like Linger in Shadows. It is a user-driven music visualizer that allows you to create your own visual performance to accompany your favorite music tracks on the XMB, simply by using the SIXAXIS controller to manipulate and interact with objects within a scene. It also has its own music and a performance you can watch, too!

So, for those of you wanting a different experience on the PS3, get your creative juices flowing now. I highly recommend downloading this tomorrow to have some fun.

276w ago - Today XSEED's Localization Specialist Jessica Chavez has announced that Half-Minute Hero ships tomorrow for Sony's PSP console.

To quote: Jessica Chavez here. XSEED games mid-level peon, editor and one of the people partly responsible for bringing Half-Minute Hero to your unsuspecting PSPs.

I'm here to talk a little about the game, flaunt its secrets, and most importantly, explain away the title that reminds too many gamers about their bedroom exploits.

What Half-Minute Hero is, is a speed RPG/RTS (Real Time Strategy)/Shooter/exercise in affectionate satire. It's a frantic, multi-mode, 8-bit foray into a seemingly stereotypical RPG that will test your skills against the clock and probably make you wonder how wearing a "Charisma Wig" and "Swimming Goggles" can possibly help you save the world.

Only 30 seconds, huh...? 30 seconds may not seem like enough time to save the world, let alone play an entire game, but Half-Minute Hero promises to deliver a true time challenge...over the course of many-many stages, modes, bosses and maps. (Over 20 hours of gameplay and each mode contains 30-50 distinct...
