Video: Promote Real Music in BigFest on PlayStation Vita

To quote: Revealed at Gamescom 2013 for PS Vita, BigFest is about building your own festival that will promote real, unsigned bands. Players will go on a journey with the bands with the goal of building their own thriving festival and becoming the most successful promoter in the world.

Do you have what it takes to discover the next big thing, and take them to the top of the charts?





Before you take a band to the top, you'll need to give them a platform, and that means building the best festival you can. Starting with a small stage in a field, it's up to the player to build their festival their way.

Choose the basics from shops and stalls to earn money and use that money to enhance your festival by installing the right speakers, lights and video screens, increasing the "vibe" as you go.

The levels themselves are run as Festival "Posters," with headliners and support acts. Some Posters will let you play whatever music you want while others will have specific needs to succeed. Visitors to a rock festival will have different needs to those at a dance...

To quote: Hello, PlayStation fans! Since our announcement of Murasaki Baby, the team at Ovosonico has been hard at work perfecting the game. Today we wanted to share some details on the gameplay in Chapter 3 with you.

In Murasaki Baby, Baby wakes up in a nightmarish dream world with all sorts of frightening creations straight from a child's imagination. So far, on her journey to find her Mommy, Baby has made two new friends and used eight background mood powers in the previous two chapters.

For those of you who may not recall, as you and Baby journey through this nightmarish land, you'll make use of the various backgrounds and their powers to help, guide, and protect her. Using PS Vita's rear touch screen, you can swipe with your finger to switch between backgrounds.

Below are four new background moods that Baby comes across in this chapter of the game:

• The black and white background is called the "Heart of Stone." Tapping the PlayStation Vita's rear touch pad will make Baby's balloon magically become as heavy as stone. Perfect for the occasion when you need something solid to hold on to.

• The blue background is called "Frozen Hell" and will freeze...

To quote: It's been a few weeks since we made the announcement for the North American release of Freedom Wars, and we're overwhelmed with all the positive comments we've been seeing! Today, we'd like to dive deeper into the world of Freedom Wars on PS Vita.

In PT Era 102014, the earth has been devastated by atmospheric pollution and the world is running out of resources. Human beings can only survive inside purpose-built facilities known as Panopticons.

City-states across the world fight each other to take control of what is left, using these Panopticons to take over other competing regions. You take on the role of prisoner in this Panopticon facility, subject to a million-year sentence.

When the story begins, the main character finds himself in a cell with no recollection of where - or who - he is. An Android, also referred to as an "Accessory" throughout the game, is sent to brief him on his fate. The Accessory tells the protagonist that he must fight massive Abductors to reduce his million-year sentence.

To quote: Greetings - Gary from Atomicom here with an update on Switch Galaxy Ultra, our insanely-fast, reaction-based arcade game that's been developed as an update to our critically acclaimed PlayStation Mobile title Switch Galaxy.

We've been off the radar a bit as we had our heads down squeezing every last drop of art, code, and blood into the game and it's shaped up to be something we're very proud of. Both the PS4 and PS Vita versions are running in super smooth 60 FPS with the PS4 version at 1080p.

Both feature online multiplayer with two modes of play for up to four players, and we've incorporated cross play so you can compete against your buddies across PS4 and PS Vita. We also have cross buy and cloud save so everyone with a PS4 and Vita combo is getting a real treat.

Charlie's Games Announces Son of Scoregasm is Coming to PS Vita

Below are the details, as follows: Hi, I'm Charlie of Charlie's Games.

I've been writing and releasing shooty games since 2005, including Irukandji, Bullet Candy,and - most recently - Scoregasm. I'm here to talk about my latest super amazing game Son of Scoregasm, which is coming to PS Vita very soon.

In Son of Scoregasm I've tried to create something slick, varied, challenging, and fun that plays really well on Vita. The game is a sequel to Scoregasm, which was released in 2011, and in essence is a refinement of that game, taking the best bits and improving the rest.

Son of Scoregasm is a twin stick shooter, though not in the typical survival style. Instead, the game is comprised of a series of interlinked levels that you progress through in a non-linear style. What this means is that there are multiple paths through the game, ranging from fairly easy routes to some that are pretty hardcore.

The levels themselves are designed to be different, and there's a real variety of enemies, traps, and bosses for you overcome as you explore the game and find all the exits.
