To quote via wololo: Firmware 3.01 available - Some usermode exploits fixed, ... this little devil of a Firmware patched again some (at least 2) usermode exploits. This time two games were patched, one that wasn’t used at all, it just functioned as a hello world, and one game, that might got leaked some weeks ago. It was confirmed that the kernel mode exploit and TN-V4 are still fully working at the new Firmware...

Sony Announces IGN for PlayStation App is Out Today on PS4

50°
50w ago - IGN Senior Editor Colin Moriarty announced today that the IGN PlayStation application is out today on PS4.

Below are the details, to quote: Greetings once again, PlayStation.Blog! My name's Colin, IGN's Senior Editor.

You may have seen me skulking around [Register or Login to view links] and making terrible predictions on Podcast Beyond, but today, I'm not here to make any pizza bets with you. No, I'm here to tell you about something exciting we've cooked up for PS4 owners.

IGN for PlayStation, our new app for PS4, is available today, and I'm pleased to tell you that you can download it for yourself - free of charge - when PlayStation Store updates. The app is currently exclusive to PS4, and will come to PS3 and PS Vita next year.

How does this benefit you, exactly? IGN's PS4 app will make you more popular with your friends, give you more energy, and even make the food you eat taste better (that's not true). But more importantly, our PS4 app will give you direct access to all of IGN's video content, letting you create custom playlists, while finding and consuming the exact content you're seeking.

What's truly cool about the app, however, is how granular you can get with it. You can rapidly come in and out of full-screen view, minimize a video...

XSeed Announces Ys: Memories of Celceta is Out Today for PS Vita

50°
52w ago - XSeed Localization Specialist Tom Lipschultz announced today that Ys: Memories of Celceta is out today for PS Vita.

To quote: It's here! Ys: Memories of Celceta, the latest installment in Nihon Falcom's storied Ys series, is out today for PS Vita. It's $39.99 for the digital or physical standard edition, and $59.99 for the swanky Silver Anniversary Edition.

The Silver Edition comes with a 130-page "Travel Journal" full of art, maps, and strategies, a cloth map depicting the lands of Celceta, a three CD compilation of original and arranged music, and a logo-emblazoned compass.
