BioWare: PS3 Development to be In-house from Now Onward

243w ago - BioWare has revealed an aim to do all PS3 development in-house from now onward.

This news follows the good experience it had from working on the console version of Dragon Age: Origins for the PlayStation 3.

To quote: "We think it's one of the key platforms, obviously, so we're definitely going to be doing PS3," BioWare final boss Greg Zeschuk told [Register or Login to view links] when asked whether the studio would take control of PS3 development itself.

You know, I can't say anything about Mass Effect in that regard but you know, I can definitely say Dragon Age and other things we do will definitely be on PS3."
 

Kings Bounty: Armored Princess for PC is Now Available

243w ago - Armored Princess, the first expansion to 1C's turn-based RPG, King's Bounty: The Legend, is available now on Windows PCs.

The expansion features a brand-new storyline as well as army units and maps. It retails for $39.99 and is available via most digital distribution systems.

244w ago - Sony's PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has announced today that the Digital Comics Reader is now available for PSP... and provided a code to get a free issue too!

To quote: As you've already heard from Eric Lempel, the latest PSP firmware update v6.20 added the Digital Comics Reader to the XMB on the PSP. The PlayStation Network comic service on PlayStation Store will be coming in December (U.S. Only).

PS3 Firmware 3.10 Update is Now Available!

244w ago - As promised, Sony's PS3 Firmware 3.10 (mandatory) update is now available and can be downloaded linked below for both North America and Europe.

For those who missed it earlier today, the offical press release details all of the changes including Facebook integration, a Photo browser update and an enhanced Friends List that includes the ability to change the font color of your PSN ID.

244w ago - My how time flies... it seems like only yesterday that Sony's beloved PlayStation 3 console turned two years old.

Happy third birthday PS3 and PSN!! Here's looking forward to the next PS3 Firmware Update 3.10 that will arrive later this week.

To quote: "Sony has made all the right moves for this holiday season including, cutting the price of the standard PS3 SKU, and releasing quality games that showcase the power of the very expensive cell processor.
