Soldner-X Delayed Until Late November for PlayStation Network

50°
286w ago - Last month Eastasiasoft said their space shooter Söldner-X was on target to become a PlayStation Network download in October... which apparently is no longer the case.

To quote: Since it's the last week in October I thought we would see it on this Thursday's PlayStation Store update. After searching their forums I discovered this was not the case.

Himmelsstürmer, a Forum Moderator there explains as follows, "The game will be pushed back to a late November release. A news update will follow shortly."

So there you have it, no Söldner-X in what's left of this month folks.

PS3 Home v1.0 Closed BETA Coming, November Qore has Invites

50°
286w ago - Sony's Home Community Manager TedTheDog recently replied on the Official PlayStation boards when asked if he could hint on PlayStation Home's launch stating:

"How about "this year" then? Sorry, you dont have too long to wait compared to the length of the project so far, but I know the lack of a date is annoying. If it helps v1.0 is in internal testing and will hit the Closed BETA in the coming weeks as will more testers by invitation."

Additionally, CVG (linked above) is reporting that the November issue of Qore will include invites into the next Home Closed BETA.

To quote: Meanwhile, it has emerged that subscribers of the US-only online PSN magazine, Qore, will get invites into Home next month.

TedTheDog's reply in full: How about "this year" then? Sorry, you dont have too long to wait compared to the length of the project so far, but I know the lack of a date is annoying.

If it helps v1.0 is in internal testing and will hit the closed beta in the coming weeks as will more testers by invitation. Something I mentioned to the BETA testers today is important to remember. 1.0 is a major milestone on our journey...

Legendary for PlayStation 3 and PC Delayed, Dated for November

50°
287w ago - Atari has confirmed that both the PS3 and PC versions of FPS Legendary will be delayed until sometime in November.

However, the XBox 360 version of the game will be released on October 31st across Europe.

To quote: Amongst a number of other announcements, Atari has confirmed that it will release the XBox 360 version of Spark Unlimited's upcoming FPS Legendary before either the PS3 or PC versions.

The mythical beast-based shooter will be released on Xbox 360 on October 31st in Europe, whilst both the PS3 and PC versions are now dated as simply 'November'.

The same month will also see the release of the much-delayed PS3 release of Alone in the Dark, which will now be subtitled 'Inferno'.

PAIN Movie Studio Environment to Launch this November via PSN

50°
287w ago - Today Travis Williams (Sr. Producer, SCEA) revealed that November will an exciting month for PAIN fans as the the next environment, dubbed Movie Studio, is on the way. Basically it's their take on the wackiness of movie making, as the video below points out.

To quote: So to directly contradict my earlier statement ... PAIN development is (at least somewhat) a democracy. We have listened to what you wanted and tried our best to make sure all the things that you wanted are in this area.

That includes (but isn't limited to):

• More than one launcher location (There are three that you can dynamically switch to)
• Single Player Fun with Explosives
• New Cratetastic Mode
• Unlockable FREE Character
• HORSE Mode
• Bowling Mode (With all new distractions)

Movie Studio is the first area that we created after hearing all your input (democracy again). Amusement Park was started before PAIN was released (and took quite a while to make). Movie Studio was made in a third of that time, and I think it shows how much better we as a team have gotten at this since the original PAIN area.

We also have a new single player mode in the Lot called CRATETASTIC. I think you will love the mode...
