Rumor: Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 to be Revealed at E3 '09 for Wii

200°
291w ago - Another rumor to spark up your interest for the already much-ado'd E3: Capcom is presenting Devil May Cry 5 at the said event.

Remember that full E3 line-up plus two mystery games released a couple of weeks ago? Well, rumor has it that the other mystery title is DMC5.

According to Curious Gamer, this iteration of the DMC franchise will not only head to the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but will also be showing up on the Nintendo Wii.

Also, their source says that attendees of E3 may look forward to a 1:32-minute long teaser trailer - quite short for eager fans, but it ought to be informative nonetheless as the release date will be shown in it too.

Again, this stands as rumor for now, though. We expect to hear something official from Capcom now that the buzz is out.

The first revealed mystery title turned out to be Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Kojima's New Project to be Revealed on May 18, 2009

292w ago - An ad appeared in a Japanese magazine indicating that Kojima's new project will be revealed on the 18th of May.

The ad shows dark clouds in the shape of Snake.

To quote hweita of GameTrailers forums (linked above):

Here's an ad from a Japanese gaming magazine today:

Personally I see the clouds in the shape of Snake lying down... Dark clouds in the picture indicate a storm (Raiden = storm in Japanese) is coming?

Wow... Hope we get to know a lot more on the 18th of May

Rumor: Redesigned PS3 to be Revealed at E3 2009

550°
292w ago - Of course this is just yet another rumor, as there is no official confirmation, but PlayStation Lifestyle caught word that Sony is set to not only reveal the PSP Go at E3, but another hardware redesign will be debuted as well.

To quote: We didn't get any specifics, but we speculate that it could be one of a couple different options. First off, it very well could be as simple as a white or a silver PS3, to go with the white and silver Dualshock 3's that have been made available. This makes sense, as most people would want their controllers to match their consoles.

The other option, and the one we are leaning toward is a slimmed down, model. Maybe with some updated specs. Nothing major of course as to not alienate current PS3 owners, but there is an off chance they could add something small like bluetooth 3.0 support. When we caught wind of this, the exact word "redesign" was used, which leaves me to believe that it is indeed a PS3 slim. Announcing a different color wouldn't exactly warrant the term "redesign".

Then again, since a console wasn't specified either, it could be a redesigned PS2, or yet another PSP model (other than the Go) but that is highly unlikely....

GTA IV Lost & Damned PS3 DLC Release Date Revealed?

200°
293w ago - Is August 20th the day for the Lost and Damned DLC?

For months now, PlayStation 3 gamers have been asking when will the Lost & Damned DLC come to the PSN Store?

PSW Magazine recently published an article in their magazine stating that Microsoft only had a 6 month exclusivity deal for 'The Lost and Damned' add-on for Grand Theft Auto IV.

This potentially means that the add-on will be released on August 20th, 2009.

So everyone get ready because it will come sooner rather than later!

God of War III at E3 '09: Footage, Motion Control to be Revealed

300°
293w ago - It's no secret that Kratos will grace this year's E3 with his presence. Already, Sony's even made an announcement about an announcement: they'll be revealing God of War III's release date during the event. But what else will we get to see (or hear) about Kratos' trek up Olympus?

According to The Bitbag (linked above), we'll get lots of footage and more details - especially about controls. Says one Torrence Davis, to quote:

An insider at Sony has not only confirmed that there will be tons of God Of War 3 footage at E3, but also hinted that Sony fans will be getting some motion controls very soon.

While the footage part is to be expected, what gives me pause here is the bit about motion control. Back in February, it was revealed that the dev team at SCE Santa Monica said they didn't want to put in tilt-sensing controls because they couldn't figure out a way to incorporate it seamlessly. Doing so would have made it look "forced or gimmicky."

Ah well, whatever the case is, E3 is just around the corner now. We'll find out for sure come early June.
