184w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Manager Mike Kebby is here with this weeks European PSN update today, as follows:
Planet Minigolf joins us this week, bringing its own style of golfing aesthetics to our fingertips, also offering customisation options as well as multiplayer modes; this certainly looks like something you could be sinking some time into (there's also a demo available).
On PSP, you can assume the role of a fighter pilot tasked with taking down a witch (yes you read that right) in Xyanide: Resurrection, a side-scrolling shoot 'em up.
For those who own both PS3 and PSP I direct to this lovely little oddity (can you guess where I'm going with this?), the multi-award winning sequel, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus.
That's not all though, there are plenty of other titles worth delving into; the full listing as always is below.
There is one more week to run on the current batch of Special Offers, and we've also got some further titles given the permanent price reduction treatment too.
PlayStation Store (via PS3, PSP and Media Go)
(Available until the 9th of June)
• Wakeboarding HD (was - £11.99/€14.99 now - £6.29/€7.99)
• Numblast (was - £3.99/€4.99 now...
185w ago - Today Mike Kebby of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PlayStation Store update, as follows:
The first of the new games I want to highlight this week is Fret Nice, which takes the world of guitar based rock and platforming gameplay mechanics and combines them into a side-scrolling game...intriguing no?
Moving on, we have the sequel to Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer, this time with an easier to pronounce title too; Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype.
This game features masses of enemies, an arsenal of explosive weaponry, and looks pretty gorgeous too, it's also a great reminder of the old-school side-scrolling shooters of yesteryear too (what is it with side-scrolling games this week?).
For those of you who have bought the Sam and Max bundle, then Episode 2: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak (catchy title huh, did you see what they did there?) is available this week too.
I'm sure there will be many of you who have not had enough Final Fantasy in your life recently, so we're pleased to say that the PSone release of Final Fantasy IX also hits the store today!
As mentioned on the blog earlier this week, we have the madcap mini Feel For Two available this week, and what's there not to love about a game that features mini-games with...

I bring you salutations of the day, and lots of ModNation Racers goodies!
Not only does the PSP version of the game appear on the store, but we have demos for the PS3 and PSP versions, as well as the Van Man Mod and Kart pack for PS3. There really is no excuse this week not to try your hand at this great mix of sublime kart racing, and the deep creation tools at your disposal.
Of course, there's other content available on the store this week. For PSP users there are a further two games available, featuring princes and mech-suits, though not combined, as well as more content for Buzz! and LittleBigPlanet.
Also, our friends at Futurlab release their mini title Coconut Dodge onto the store too, if you haven't heard of this already, you could do far worse than reading the three part series they've written here on the blog.
For the full list, you know what to do; have a butchers' further down this post. (Some of you may want to take note of the additional territory releases section at the bottom of the post too).
187w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this week's European PSN update today, as follows:
So what's on the cards this week?
Well, quite apart from the new set of amazing Special Offers, (Critter Crunch for €2.99/£2.39 is just one of the deals too good to pass up) if you ever owned a MegaDrive or SNES then the chances are you might remember 'Rocket Knight Adventures' or its sequel 'Sparkster'.
If you do, or even if you don't you're in for a treat because this week Konami brings us 'Rocket Knight' - the sequel to these two 16-Bit gems.
Armed with a whacking great sword and his trademark rocket pack, you'll take to the skies to defend the world of Elhorn from all comers. Best of all, if you're still on the fence you can try it out before you grab the full game.
We've also been blessed with 'Catan'- a digital version of the German board game, 'The Settlers of Catan' for you all to enjoy. It'll take a mixture of strategy, luck and negotiation to come out on top and it's addictive enough that I've been playing it all week. So get out there and establish those colonies! Establish them!
You're spoiled for DLC this month as awesome titles become even more awesome. Battlefield: Bad Company...
188w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Team member Mike Kebby has posted up the first 'Wednesday' European PSN update today, as follows:
So, today's historic occasion has arrived; the first Wednesday store update.
To celebrate this 'kick-ass' occasion, ahem, we have available the game version of the comic and film hit, Kick-Ass (please note, whilst this initial release is for the English language stores only, all other locales will be getting it released in due course).
We also have two other full games available this week in the form of Anarchy: Rush Hour and Feeding Frenzy 2, whilst for PSP users you'll be able to get to grips with R-Type Tactics.
We also have two massive demos for you this week, for the forthcoming titles UFC Undisputed 2010, and Split/Second: Velocity, and we also have the first expansion for the PSN exclusive title Burn Zombie Burn!, and it's set in space, what more do you need?
Finally; The Stimulus Pack is here! Not sure if you've heard of this? Of course you have, who am I kidding? For those of you who have been itching to get your hands on the new maps for the multiplayer experience of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, now is your chance.
