Assassin's Creed Liberation HD Launches Today on PlayStation 3

50°
40w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani announced that Assassin's Creed Liberation HD launches today on PlayStation 3.

To quote: Aveline de Grandpre is no stranger to PlayStation Assassins. Making her debut as the first playable female Assassin on PS Vita a little over a year ago, Aveline has quickly grown to be one of the most popular and praised Assassins in the series.

She even took on a few missions on the PS3 and PS4 versions of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (And if you haven't played those yet, be sure to download them for free from the AC4 main menu!).

Now, Aveline will arrive on PS3 in the fully-upgraded Assassin's Creed Liberation HD!

Liberation HD includes a complete graphical overhaul, fully-remastered audio, and all-new, never-before-played missions designed to engulf you even further into Aveline's world. For the first time on PS3, you'll be able to use Aveline's trademark whip in both combat and navigation.

Stalk secretly while hiding in plain sight, dressed in any of Aveline's three disguises. Dash effortlessly through the trees of the bayou, across verdant jungles and Mayan ruins, or perch over the sprawling port city of New Orleans.

Don't miss out on your chance to play as one of our most deadly Assassins yet.

Video: King Oddball Ends The World Launches on PS Vita Today

50°
41w ago - 10tons PR Coordinator Jaakko Maaniemi shared a fresh video announcing that King Oddball Ends The World launches on PS Vita today.

To quote: Greetings from still miraculously snowless Finland, PlayStation Blog readers! This week 10tons is back with another game to PS Vita, and what a game it is.

I'm quite frankly not sure what to say about King Oddball. Or, King Oddball Ends the World, as the full name goes in all its glory. The game is a bit peculiar, you see. You're probably better off trying the free trial.

While it's technically true that King Oddball falls in the same physics-based puzzle category as Angry Birds, the fruitfulness of the comparison doesn't last long. Sure, you lob objects at things in both games, but that's largely as far as the similarities go.

First of all, King Oddball is a bit weird. What the heck the titular main character even is? What is he a king of? Why is his tongue so absurdly long and stretchy? Why is he in such a foul mood? Your guess is as good as mine. All I know is the eccentric art style and accordion-heavy soundtrack fit the game perfectly.

Gameplay-wise, and this is probably the part everyone is the most interested in, King Oddball is equally uncommon:...

41w ago - Klei Entertainment Community Manager Corey Rollins announced that Don't Starve is out today on PS4 and free for PlayStation Plus members!

Below are the details, to quote: Hey everyone! I'm Corey Rollins from Klei Entertainment, and I'm here to talk about our newest PS4 downloadable game: Don't Starve. It's available today on PlayStation Store for $14.99 and it's free for PlayStation Plus.

If you're new to the game, Don't Starve is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic. While there are many unique characters to discover and unlock along the way, you'll start as the gentleman scientist, Wilson.

After being lured with infinite knowledge by a demon named Maxwell, Wilson finds himself trapped in a mysterious and unforgiving world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.

Don't Starve is a game that gives no instruction, and forces players to adapt or die in the process. And oh my, die you will! After every death, a new world is procedurally generated, and you'll find yourself scrambling to gather resources, explore the world, encounter bizarre creatures, and play your own way to unravel the mysteries around you.

One of the biggest features of the console...
