Video: God of War: Origins Collection on PS3 Today, Launch Trailer

157w ago - SCEA PR Manager Eric Levine has announced that God of War: Origins Collection officially hits the PS3 today and has shared the launch trailer alongside details, as follows:

The wait is over! Kratos storms store shelves everywhere in the form God of War: Origins Collection- the compilation of God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta on a single Blu-ray Disc, available today!

Now fans and newcomers to the franchise can complete the God of War experience on their PS3 for the first time. And so far, members of the media have given God of War: Origins Collection a strong thumbs up.

GameTrailers.com called the game "a gift worthy of Olympus," while MTV.com said "God of War: Origins Collection is an absolute steal."





In case you forgot, here's a quick refresher on what this package includes:

To quote: Now that you know Twisted Metal is confirmed for February 14th 2012, just in time for a bloody Valentine's Day, we wanted to share the latest gameplay video with readers.

This new video features Dollface in all her creepy glory, and you also get a taste of some new vehicles such as the Juggernaut, as well as weapons like Meat Grinder and the Murder Balls.

Get your face in the game and interact with some wacky objects that will appear straight into your living room: save stranded divers, defuse bombs before they explode, splat shoals of mutant piranhas, do battle with dinosaurs and zap alien invaders out of the sky.

As you can see, they are pretty dangerous missions - but no need to worry: you can always ask your friends and family to help out.

There are some people out there that will tell you modern games are too easy, that they hold your hand for ten hours of story and then wave goodbye until next year's sequel. However, there is growing number of titles, such as the upcoming Dark Souls, that are looking to punish you like a Victorian headmaster.

The Ninja Gaiden series has always been a renowned controller clencher and the third instalment in the series, coming to PS3 next year, includes PlayStation Move support. Here's the latest trailer:
