A New Day-and-Night Track: The Rock
The stage for this After Party is an abandoned prison island near the bay, known to the lunatic racers and ravers as The Rock. Multiple routes have been carved into the island's varied terrain, so expect off-road racing action reminiscent of the legendary island in the Pacific Rift.

129w ago - Electronic Arts Senior Producer Steve Matulac has announced that Shadows of the Damned: A New Vision of Hell hits PS3 today.
To quote: In my 20 years in the industry, I have never had an experience like the one working on Shadows of the Damned.
First off, I spent the majority of last year living in Japan and onsite with the developer; Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture. It was a great experience living in Tokyo and working alongside the great team at Grasshopper Manufacture.
The concept of light and dark as a metaphor for good and evil is an old one, but the Light and Dark gameplay in Shadows of the Damned takes it to a whole new level. It is less literal, but rather metaphorical, in the pain and torment that is caused to our hero.
As for gameplay, the player should not take the approach of "shoot anything that moves". Each environment and enemy will require a thoughtful approach in order to progress. Usually, darkness is lethal to the player, but sometimes may be required in order to expose an enemy's weakness.
Each situation is different and the player must build upon the earlier concepts encountered in order to defeat the tougher enemies deeper in the game. Shadows of the Damned is the thinking...
129w ago - Today Djamil Kemal at Lexis Numerique has shared a video on Amy, an evolved survival horror video game that is hitting PSN this summer.
To quote: If you're into new survival-horror experiences, this post is for you! After recently releasing Red Johnson's Chronicles on PSN, we're excited to be publishing Amy on PSN later in 2011.
Amy is the upcoming game from Paul Cuisset, who may be a familiar name for some of you; In the early 90s Paul created Flashback, a classic game that is credited today as a great source of inspiration by respected game designers.
With Amy, we're now bringing Paul's innovative concepts to PS3 owners with a new development philosophy that bridges the gap between innovative indie PSN games and very ambitious Blu-ray titles.
The story begins on a rainy December day in 2034. Global warming is in full swing, spreading diseases and natural disasters all around the world. You play as Lana, a character who regains consciousness following a comet impact in the small town of Silver City.
Upon awakening, you discover that Silver City has descended into chaos. Violence, fury, rage, wreckage and death: the world you knew has been torn to Hell.
129w ago - Art and Designer Michael Michael at PomPom Games has made available some new video footage while announcing today that Alien Zombie Mega Death will be hitting the PS3 on June 21, 2011.
To quote: Make sure you have $8 in your PlayStation Store wallet come June 21st and prepare yourself for one of the most ridiculously intense shoot-em-ups ever... or at least since PomPom made their last PlayStation game.
Heralded as "pacy, mean-spirited, and delightful" by EDGE magazine, it was a simple, extremely focused platform shooter. We loved making it. Anybody with the required skill set loved playing it. Those who didn't clearly play too much backgammon.
