Below are the details, to quote: So, we are two weeks since the launch of OlliOlli - the response has been AMAZING! Our tiny studio in New Cross, London, has been overwhelmed by the love that we have received from reviewers, but we're mainly overwhelmed from the sheer Twitter love that the game has got in its first couple of weeks (you guys rule!).

As you may have read in our communications and on forums, there is a pesky bug that seems to crop up from time to time. We found out about this just as journos were doing their initial reviews, and the team has been working tirelessly to try to smash out a fix.

It's not an easy task, but we have help from our other Indie Vita friends and the splendid people at Sony - so fingers crossed we will have some news for you soon.

In other news, we have now had three people (that we know of) complete RAD mode, which is pretty special. Only half of the Roll7 team have achieved this, so it's no mean feat! Maybe we need to make the game harder?

Anyway, you lovely people have now had a few days to get your hands around the controls, hopefully racking up some nice combos, so it's time...
 

Ethan: Meteor Hunter Announced for PS Vita, PS3 Demo & Price Cut

24w ago - Seaven Studio Co-founder Olivier Penot announced that Ethan: Meteor Hunter is headed for PS Vita, complete with a PS3 demo and price cut with details below.

To quote: Hey guys! You've asked for it, and it's happening! I'm happy to announce that Ethan: Meteor Hunter, often described as "when Super Meat Boy meets Braid" and released in October on PlayStation 3 and PC, will arrive on PlayStation Vita very soon!

We will announce a definitive release date soon, but expect it this spring!

Can't remember what Ethan: Meteor Hunter is about? Let me refresh your memory. You can freeze time and manipulate the world with dynamic use of physics allowing endless possibilities: overcome challenging platforms and tricky puzzles the way YOU want.

Nothing is scripted, levels can be solved in multiple ways. You'll die repeatedly but you'll enjoy it - master the one-hit kill gameplay and feel like a hero when you succeed!

The game features leaderboards (shared between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita), 50 levels within three different worlds, secret bonuses and challenging trophies!

You will also be able to use the touch screen as it just made sense with the freeze-time feature to move objects around.

And you can use the Rear Touch Pad to rotate objects...
 

Video: Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F Debuts on PS Vita this March

24w ago - Sega of America Associate Brand Manager Aaron Webber confirmed today alongside a video trailer that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F febuts on PS Vita this March.

To quote: Hello again, PlayStation aficionados, [Register or Login to view links] fans, and gentlemen and ladies with fine taste in music games. Aaron from SEGA here, and we're excited to confirm with you all that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f will be releasing for your PS Vita this March!

The game will be available on PlayStation Store, and will also feature a completely separate set of Trophies from the PS3 version (go for that double Platinum)!

We're also happy to confirm today that we will be bringing over the DLC that many have asked us about: the Snow Miku 2013 DLC, the Extra Character Modules Pack, and the Extra Songs pack will all be available at launch in March. We'll be announcing details on pricing for these, as well as the full game, here soon.





It's amazing to look back and see how far we've come over the last year. For that, we have nothing but thanks for each and every one of you who picked up the game (or plans to) and is part of that story.

AWESOME TIPS

1) It's always better to vent...

Venting makes the corresponding color blocks worth more points. For example, if you're left with a bunch of purple blocks ready for clearance, but some of them are blocking the purple vents, it's worth sacrificing those blocks to make the vents available, as triggering two purple vents will make your purple blocks worth a lot more points.

You'll know you've got it right when all your blocks are shaking wildly with excitement before you unleash the clearance!

2) Leave the star blocks until the clearance!

Star blocks are worth double points, so chip away all the other blocks in a level to leave as...
 

FIFA 11 Exploit Released for PS Vita Firmware 3.01, Leak Details

24w ago - Following up on the previous updates, today hgoel0974 shared news of yet another PS Vita Firmware 3.01 exploit using FIFA 11 alongside another leak with details below.

To quote: Ok guys, you might want to hurry up and grab the game as Mathew_Wi has decided to release the exploit now as the game seems to have been leaked. This is quite disappointing actually because this is the second leak for this kernel exploit.

So, the game is Fifa 11 and it is available on the US and JP stores. Although Mathew hasn’t described where the leak happened, I’d like to send out a message to the leaker saying that he hasn’t helped anyone by leaking and instead he has not only ruined many of our plans (like my sleep ) but has also ruined it for all the people who were going through the ninja release the right way.

I’d like to point you and everyone else to the “Regarding ninja releases” thread just to remind you about how a ninja release works. Anyone who has ever wondered why we do ninja releases, it’s because leaks like this just ruin it for everyone.
