24w ago - Digital Dreams Level Designer Roy van de Mortel confirmed today alongside a PlayStation Vita video trailer that Metrico on PS Vita arrives on August 5, 2014.

To quote: Hi fellow PlayStation enthusiasts! We're finally ramping up to the release of our first big title, the infographics action game [Register or Login to view links]. We got loads of questions during development, which we are really excited to finally answer in this blog post!

One of the most frequently asked question is; when is Metrico coming out? We're proud to announce that Metrico will be available on PlayStation Network August 5th in the US, exclusively on PS Vita!

Another frequent question was: "Who did the awesome music?" You're in the right place to find out as well! But the most frequent question was the request for Metrico gameplay footage. We want to start this post by giving you exactly that:

Showing Metrico gameplay

The main reason we took such a long time to show gameplay footage is because we always felt the main mechanics of Metrico are quite tricky to explain through video. We never got around to solving this, even though this is probably a recurring issue for novel game concepts.

Escape Hatch: Major Update Comes to Starlight Inception on PS Vita

24w ago - Escape Hatch Entertainment President Garry M Gaber announced today that a major update is coming to Starlight Inception on PS Vita.

To quote: In this blog, we wanted to focus on the major update (live now) that we completed for [Register or Login to view links], one of the only first-person / third-person space combat experiences on PS Vita.

This was our first title on Vita, and as a small indie developer with limited resources both for development and testing, a lot of folks thought we weren't in the game for the long haul.

Hopefully this update dispels those notions. We're committed to this product and have been working hard since its release in late April to address issues in the game, add more features, and generally polish the product. We also have plans for future updates, both to address any issues that arise from this update, as well as to expand the game and its feature set.

You can find the full release notes [Register or Login to view links]. As you can see, the list is rather extensive; we'll just focus on a select few of these in this blog entry. We'll also be posting more videos to our [Register or Login to view links]

To quote: Hey Pinball fans! I'm Mike Lindsey, Community Manager at FarSight Studios. I'm originally from the Big Bear area where we recreate all these amazing tables.

It's awesome to have the opportunity to do what I love (talk to people and make friends), live in the mountains where I feel most at home, and work on a game that is preserving something as cool as real pinball for all of it's fans out there.

Enough about me, though! We know you guys have been waiting for more pinball tables in Pinball Arcade on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

Today, we're proud to announce that Black Knight 2000, WHO Dunnit, High Speed, and Junk Yard will be available on July 15th for PS3 and PS Vita, and then on July 22nd for PS4.

24w ago - Lab Zero Games CEO Peter Bartholow announced that Skullgirls Encore is coming to PS4 and PS Vita in 2014 with details below.

To quote: Very little has been constant during Skullgirls' two year existence - after all, the game has changed distributors and even developers. But one thing has stayed with us all this time: people asking us to bring the game to PS Vita and, more recently, PS4.

We'll have more info on features and pricing as these exciting new versions get closer to launch.

So if you're going to Evo, be sure to...

25w ago - Cellar Door Games Designer Teddy Lee announced today that Rogue Legacy is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms on July 29th, 2014.

To quote: What's up guys! We're crazy proud to announce that the official release date for Rogue Legacy on ALL PlayStation platforms will be July 29th, 2014! That's only 3 weeks away!

That's complete insanity, and we're totes mcgoats excited to finally bring it to consoles and handhelds.

Now, before I go into a list of the awesomeness that is the Playstation versions of Rogue Legacy, I just want to give a shout out to the guys at Abstraction Games.

They did almost all of the work on bringing the game to PlayStation, and this would never have happened without them. So big ups to them for all their help!

For those that don't know, I should probably explain to you guys what Rogue Legacy is. It's a rogue-lite game where you must conquer a magical castle which is constantly changing. Every time you die, your children succeed you.

Each child has his or her own unique genetic traits, so one child might be a near sighted wizard, and another could be a flatulent ninja. So every play through is unique, right from the get-go.

As an added bonus, all the money you earn is passed down to your children, giving each...
