26w ago - Creative Director Nicklas Nygren at Nifflas' Games revealed that Knytt Underground rolls to both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita consoles today complete with a video trailer below.
To quote: I've always wanted to develop a game that is heavily-story based, but I've always waited to do it until I had a story I really want to tell; something personal and different.
Problem is, I can't just decide to come up with such a story whenever I want. It's an unusual and mysterious process and it kind of just... happens. Knytt Underground is the result of this process. Oh, and it's also a pretty sweet exploration platform game.
Knytt Underground tells a quirky and strange tale that connects to various things in my own life. It's set in the future, hundreds of years after the humans disappeared from the planet. Sprites, fairies and various other lifeforms roam tunnels underground.
They are curious about their origin and the meaning of life, and to find those answers they try to understand the ones who had obviously figured it out: the humans.
One organization is devoted to understanding our science and language. They have successfully decoded that the letter J symbolizes a hook and O the full moon. Another group tries to combine the truths of our different religions....

27w ago - Nnooo Creative Director Nic Watt has shared a video today spotlighting EscapeVektor, which makes a break for PlayStation Vita next week!
Below are the details, to quote: We're happy to bring you information about escapeVektor, a new game coming to PlayStation Vita from Australian independent developer Nnooo.
The concept is simple: Vektor is trapped inside your CPU and needs your help to escape! Each node (level) consists of a series of interconnected lines which form cells.
These are claimed as Vektor moves along them. Claiming all of the cells in a node unlocks the exit to the next node, bringing Vektor closer to his escape. Watch out because the CPU sets up obstacles and sends out its army to destroy him.
There are four main abilities to unlock and use in escapeVektor.
• Detonate: This ability allows you to destroy enemies which get too close. If you can escape a node without detonating you'll earn a star! Getting stars on all the nodes is going to be tricky.
• Boost: Boost allows you to travel much faster than normal for short periods of time.
• Super Boost: This is a much faster version of boost which drains boost energy even quicker!!
27w ago - Recently French PlayStation Vita developer NtRnOs shared a Proof of Concept (PoC) video demo on installing PKG games and applications on the PS Vita handheld console.
Below are the details, roughly translated:
This proof is not a hack but just to show how to install PKG PSVita outside the circle with the usual and customary and PSN content manager "PSViTA/PS3/PC"
Download your PKG then copy it to a storage system external or internal to the PS3.
Install it on your PS3 via "install package" (this may take a few minutes).
Find it in the queue (TASK) files to install the PS3 (PSVita download content via PS3 or transferred PKG PSVita will not install on your PS3, they just put in the queue waiting to be transferred to a system PSVita).
Connect your PSVita to your PS3 and go to the content manager (PSVita)
On your PS3, you should find your PKG copied earlier in the queue for the PS3, click to install it (the PS3 will ask you to connect the PSVita for the transfer).
In the content manager of PSVita select PS3 PSVita transfer and application, and the ones you want to transfer.
To finish the PS3 delete the file from your system and you find the application / game installed on your PSVita.
