European PlayStation Store Update for November 12, 2009

50°
262w ago - Today Mike Kebby from the SCEE PlayStation Store Team is back with this week's European PSN Update, as follows:

So I bet most of you have been playing Modern Warfare 2 this week, and in relation to this (just in case any of you missed it) we added the original Call of Duty: Classic to the PS Store on Tuesday evening (given a fresh lick of paint and with online 8 player multiplayer).

I know lately we've had a bit of a lull in the updates, and whilst they may not have been massive, we have been adding steadily to the store (for you PSP users especially), but next week, there should be a nice stream of content released, and I'm hopeful that some of you will be pleased once you see what's coming .

There will always be dips in the release schedule, that's just the way it goes at times, but we always come out the other side smiling don't we? Seriously though, we'll be doing our best to make sure these lulls become less and less frequent, because we do want our community to be happy smiley folk after all!

262w ago - Now that we have confirmation on both the Facebook & Gamercard Colors and Cross-Game Voice Chat rumors, here comes another rumor for the next PS3 Firmware Update.

According to Polish site Polygamia.pl (linked above), PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.10 will arrive on November 19, 2009 and include an XMB option to choose the Polish language interface for your PS3.

To quote, roughly translated: "Polish subsidiary of Sony has confirmed to us that soon you will be able to choose Polish language interface for your PS3.

Usually the term 'soon' means something like wait a month for the official announcement, but this time it's different. Indeed in next Thursday will be able to download the software update passes marked the console 3.10, which would make the Polish language to the XMB.

Rumors about the new functionality was already a few, but currently we do not know yet whether with native speech will also be fired independently of chat games."
