181w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has brought to our attention some videos that may have been passed over at E3 2010, including The Sly Collection, God Of War: Ghost of Sparta and more.
To quote: You can only fit so much into an E3 press conference, and with as many huge titles as we showed at Tuesday's event, not every game got the full trailer treatment during the show.
We'll of course be talking about all of these games extensively in due time... but while we're still at E3, why not take a closer look at some trailers you may have missed?
The Sly Collection Now this is one hell of a deal - All 3 Sly Cooper games, remastered in HD, with Trophies, PlayStation Move mini-games, and 3D support - all on 1 Blu-ray disc. Oh yeah - you requested it.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta Go back to Kratos' roots in his second rampage on PSP and discover what shaped the ancient world's angriest man.
Heroes on the Move Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Sly and Bentley are together at last in this PlayStation Move enabled game.
182w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein hit us today with a Motorstorm Apocalypse video interview and new PS3 E3 trailer, to quote:
With so many titles shown at yesterday's press conference, we didn't have time to do a deep dive into every last one. But here's one that we announced last month which I think you'll want to see more of: MotorStorm Apocalypse.
Before jetting across "the pond" to E3, SCEE's intrepid blog-type-person scored an interview with the devs of what is shaping up to be the best MotorStorm game yet.
It felt appropriate seeing MotorStorm Apocalypse in London's Fabric nightclub. With hard dance music throbbing out of the cutting-edge sound system and a selection of journalists seated on the vibrating dance floor, we were presented with the third MotorStorm festival on PlayStation 3.
The premise this time around, Evolution Studios' Matt Southern explains to us in this video interview, is urban off-road racing. This is not a post-apocalyptic city; you're there during the apocalypse and every second of every race you're bombarded with earthquakes, explosions and other environmental madness.
183w ago - Today GamesRadar.com (linked above) has uncovered two purportedly leaked viral video trailers from YouTube user SCElabs, which may be intended for Sony's PS4 and hint at a PlayStation 4 E3 2010 reveal!
Of course, this news comes despite Sony previously citing the PS3 will have a ten year lifespan and Sony CEO Jack Trettonstating PS4 will arrive only when technology exceeds the PS3 entertainment system.
Kotaku reports that the viral videos appear to be promoting Modern Warfare 2 going 3D on the PS3 despite the PS4 logo.
To date, there have been countless PS4 rumors (like this one and this one) so feel free to share your comments below if you feel these videos are legit or just part of a viral marketing campaign.
186w ago - Sony's Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has shared both a PS3 trailer and interview with CliffyB showcasing BulletStorm for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system today.
To quote: Cliff Bleszinski is a not an easy man to find. When he's not Tweeting away, he's cooped up in Epic Games' Raleigh, NC-based studio working on his latest ultra-violent fascination.
This time that fascination is BulletStorm, an off-the-wall shooter spectacle that will grace the PS3 sometime in 2011. Cliff himself is a big fan of PS3 titles like Heavy Rain and the God of War series, and in our one-on-one interview for the PlayStation.Blog, he expressed excitement that BulletStorm will strut its stuff in front of PS3 players.
In the following video interview, you'll also learn much, much more about BulletStorm's unusual shooting gameplay and Cliff's design inspirations.
Sure, you can kill. But can you kill creatively? Let's let Mr. Bleszinski answer that question (and many more!) in his own words.
If you want to see more of BulletStorm's high-octane...
