146w ago - BioWare Community & Social Media Manager Jessica Merizan has announced today that Mass Effect 3 for PS3 officially arrives on PSN tomorrow with details and a video trailer below!

To quote: Mass Effect 3 launches in North America in less than 24 hours!

We hope you ready to start the war to take Earth back and have secured your copy of the game via digital pre-order on PSN (don't forget that you'll receive a bonus weapon and exclusive PS3 theme).

The development team spent a great deal of effort to make sure that those who are just joining us in the Mass Effect Universe are able to jump right into the game without missing a beat.

To maximize your enjoyment of the game right away, you can download Mass Effect 3 beginning at 12:01am Pacific Time TONIGHT. Start your download, get some rest, and wake up refreshed – and prepared to launch all-out galactic war against the biggest threat to ever hit Earth.

If you are unfamiliar with the game, the Earth is under attack by an ancient alien race known only as the "Reapers." They have launched an invasion, leaving nothing but a trail of destruction in their wake. Earth has been taken, the galaxy is on the verge of total annihilation, and you are the only person who can stop them. The price of failure is extinction.

148w ago - Today Game Director Paul Rustchynsky announced alongside a video trailer that MotorStorm RC hits both PS Vita and PS3 on March 6, 2012 with details below.

To quote: MotorStorm RC has very humble beginnings. It started out as a simple concept we were playing around with during lunch times, a pet project to challenge each other to set the fastest times, originally using post-its on the wall as a low-fi leaderboard!

Through a lot of love, care, and attention, MotorStorm RC has been transformed into the most exciting and addictive racing game we've ever created. It gives me great pleasure to finally be able to share that experience with you all - MotorStorm RC will be available on March 6th for both PS Vita and PS3 from the North American PlayStation Store.

See how much fun it is for yourself by picking up the free demo when the full game hits PlayStation Store on March 6th, and check out the extremely rare vehicles while you're there...if that sort of thing takes your fancy.

So much to do! MotorStorm RC revisits the extreme locations its bigger brothers put on the map: battling around the rocks and mesas of Monument Valley, crashing through jungles and tearing up the sandy beaches of Pacific Rift, sliding...

PopCap Games: Plants vs Zombies for PS Vita Hits PSN Today

300°
148w ago - PopCap Games Director of Editorial and Social Media Jeff Green has announced that Plants vs Zombies for PS Vita is hitting PSN today with details below.

To quote: I know it's been over a year since we last spoke, and I am sorry about that. I've just been really busy and haven't had time to write, and I swear I have not been cheating on you with the Xbox blog or anything.

Anyway, now that the awkwardness is out of the way and we're friends again, I am here to tell you that I have another exciting announcement for you! Plants Vs Zombies is coming to your brand-spankin' new PS Vita today! Yay!

If you have never played our action-puzzler – that pits a horde of horticultural heroes against a mob of fetid, undead, brain-eating zombies - there is no better time than now. The PS Vita version is darn near the most perfect version of Plants Vs Zombies yet, taking advantage of the handheld console's touchscreen and internal motion sensors.

And if you have played it before, well, why not play it again?

Think of it as training for the real zombie apocalypse, which, not to be too much of a bummer here, could be coming any day now. Why be one of the unfortunate ones who end up in some undead guy's brain sandwich? Do the responsible thing and prepare now with our game!...

149w ago - Sony Assistant Producer Shaun Wharton has announced today that Start The Party! Save the World will officially be hitting PSN on March 6, 2012.

To quote: On March 6, we're bringing PlayStation Move's fun-filled Start The Party! franchise back for a brand new adventure with a heroic twist in Start The Party! Save the World.

It's up to you to save the world by thwarting the unbearable Dr. Terrible and his evil schemes while competing in 20 madcap mini-games. It's easy to keep the party going - just pass your Move controller to your friends to let them join the fun or have them simultaneously jump into gameplay using a DualShock controller to either help or hinder the exciting on-screen action!

Sony Announces The Simpsons: Arcade Game Hits PSN Tomorrow

550°
150w ago - Today Sony Assistant Producer Charles Hefele has announced that The Simpsons: Arcade Game will be hitting PSN tomorrow.

To quote: Speaking as a lifelong [Register or Login to view links] fan, I'm just as excited for this game to come out as everyone else – the wait to finally see this game make its way to home consoles seemed endless!

We worked closely with Gracie Films and Fox to time the release of the game with the 500th episode of The Simpsons so that fans of the show could experience the classic game during an important milestone for the series.

It's been a great collaborative effort with [Register or Login to view links] to find a balance between preserving the authenticity of the original arcade game and making just enough tweaks to adapt it for PS3.

The original game is already great, so we decided we would focus primarily on making it as faithful a port as possible while adding various gameplay modes and bonus content.

We also listened to fans' suggestions from our previous arcade conversions, particularly in respect including more challenging ways to play these classic arcade games when you remove the quarter-crunching element. To that end, we've included several different gameplay modes in The Simpsons Arcade, so...
